You don’t need to look far to find people in conflict and sorrow, it sometimes seems like ‘drama’ is everywhere. The Psalms are filled with verses of sorrow, which can sometimes sound like complaining but are actual known as “laments”. When we complain we hear us, but when we lament we hear God.

We’ve been looking at the idea of the Supremacy of Jesus, and we’ve looked at the idea that right doctrine must lead to right practice. Believing in Jesus causes us to act in a certain way.
When it comes to Sin, Paul uses very strong language, almost violent language: we KILL IT! Paul wanted us to learn to weaken and ultimate destroy it in our lives.
