A podcast about everything and nothing wrapped up in 10 minutes cause there’s only one host and he’s stringing it all together as he goes. (Subject to guest co-hosting) We seek the answer to the question: “What is the Bohemian Rhapsody of our generation?”
I’m back! But for how long this time…? I’ve recently bought a timer to make cappuccinos but I still don’t drink coffee. I’ve begun thinking about the limits of acceptable and rude and at what point is someone considered unreasonably late? 17 minutes?
I talk at length about the rager I didn’t know about until it got broken up by police. Looked like a good time that didn’t last a long time
Despite getting a full 8 hours of sleep I’m yawning the entire episode. Maybe it’s because I slept so long that I’m yawning so much. There is such a thing as oversleeping making you more tired.
I bought some new crocs for the first time since 4th grade. (Technically though they weren’t crocs back in 4th, they were some off brand)
This episode was delayed by exactly a week as I debated on whether or not it should. In it I process a lot of pain caused by a close friend. Let’s just say there’s no coming back from gaslighting about sexual assault.
I think it is at least cause it’s super easy to miscount. It’s insane how many of these I’ve ended up making.
If we salt our tongues are is the taste simply the flavor of our tongues being brought out by the salt?
I talk about a really bad dream. (for some reason my voice isn’t coming out very well so this may be a terrible episode)
Totally thought this was like 6 minutes. Time moves weird when you’re trying to get back to sleep
I talk way too much about rocks. Did I mention that I’m taking a geology class this semester
I catch you guys up with current moods and feelings from inside the coldest the woods have gotten
I talk about life quarantining in a section of my house, followed by a talk on watches, followed by an anecdote on being broken up with 20 minutes ago, followed by some talk on my new Seiko watch coming in the mail for Christmas
I talk about this new watch I’m thinking of buying, the eating habits of deer, pumpkin funerals, and my love for retiring American flags.
I catch up with the audience after my 2 day absence. I didn’t want the ketchup to go to waste so I took all 13 extra packets they gave me at the restaurant.
We eat subs and talk about things. Episode is extra long cause I cut the other episodes short. Who knew co-hosts made thing move faster
I spend a good amount of time talking about the Alamo, cold stones, chicken, and what it takes to be a bad person
Everyone’s so busy with their bad luck the good luck falls upon me to balance the day out
I do a bit of fact checking on my claims from last episode. Also I talk about a potentially exciting weekend.
I get a little frustrated at a video assigned for class where the speaker makes a quick remark saying he can cure symptoms of autism despite not having done any research on the topic.
I distract myself and the audience from the world around us for a little under ten minutes
I did this one laying on the floor of that gives you any indicator of what this episode is like
Today is October 19th, 2020 and this is beyond the flesh curtains with Andrew Samuel. (Got so excited about the episode I forgot to say the intro)
This is my second attempt at recording an episode cause I trimmed in the opposite direction. Hope you enjoy
I talk about my love for different colored lights and a tad about my minimal dating experience
I talk about procrastination, the civil war, and the invention of airplanes. (Is my podcast old enough to drink now?)
I talk about my 12 year run in the Boy Scouts of America. Being in a troop run by a Catholic Church it’s kind of a miracle none of us got molested. Thinking about it one of my scout masters (leaders) told us about the time he missed a camp out and his friends got molested.
I talk about my Christian upbringing a bit by talking about the tradition of Bible Studies
Not sure if you guys could hear it but I jumped from my chair to my bed and did a flip. It was awesome.
Over stimulation can lead to premature ejaculation of content. (The first and hopefully only edited episode due to losing track of time)
Hope you don’t mind me stepping over rocks, leaves, and glass bottles the whole episode cause I sure love it
At this point in the production process I tend to forget nearly everything I just spoke into my phone. Think I said some stuff about salad.
I tried really hard to make it look like I wasn’t following someone but that’s tough when you’re the only two on the road and happen to be going to the same place.
Some ramblings about washing dishes, WWII, psychology, sicko mode, and a whole lot of coughing
I rant. It’s not very good and not very connected. I hate the sound of my voice so it’s likely I never listen back to these myself
