Hip Hop culture influences students today in a major way. From the music to the fashion to the art, young people today consume mass quantities of Hip Hop on a daily basis. This course is research/project-based and will incorporate multiple forms of literature, technology, and multi-media. During this course, students will examine issues prevalent in the culture of Hip Hop from it's inception to contemporary times and will discuss many aspects of the culture addressing some important issues. Episodes are created by students and reflect their opinions.
