Dr. Watkins explores events in a colonial African State with Africanist historian, Dr. Chau Kelly. Both professors talk about the importance of micro history and the importance of understanding how small events can show correlation in political, social, and cultural issues. Dr. Kelly is an associate professor at UNF, and has done extensive research on a poisoning event that occurred in 1923.
