I'm Justine, an intuitive practitioner, and a curious critical thinker. This audio share is a documentation of my journey on the spiritual path – where I share my thoughts, feelings, stories, rants, and epiphanies along the way. It is my personal story woven with the messages and lessons from the depths of my inner being. Welcome to Voice Nodes for friends new and old :)
Voice Nodes is officially coming back! For what some may say it's the third season but I see it as a 2.0 – so let's just run with that! Welcome to Season 2!
This time around I am very keen to share the people who I have collided with that feel memorable. Having just returned from a whirlwind trip in Europe I have several guests I'm excited for you to meet.
This brief episode is an intro to my next chapter as a podcast host.
DISCLAIMER: This is entirely a working theory. I am a work in progress in my education of unlearning gender terms. If I have misstepped, do tell me.
Today's episode is a short and sweet musing about how the Christian faith unknowingly prescribes to a transitioned God. As the creator of all life, we would assume God has female reproductive anatomy – a uterus – or that which houses and grows all human life. Yet, devoted followers of Christianity refer to God ONLY as he/him.
I very much believe in a non-binary God, but since dogmatic faiths tend to think in black and white, the logic leads one to believe that God is indeed a female. But identifies as a man?! Ironic, since so much transphobia comes from the Christian church.

Enjoy :)
This episode has been knocking at the door of my psyche for the past week – ever since I finished Paul Coelho's Eleven Minutes and began unpacking my thoughts on the subject matter. This season in my life is not one of experience but one of confronting my own thoughts on BDSM.
I used to pride myself on being the type of lover who would never say no to trying new things, but rather reply with "not yet". In this past month, I have been confronting that belief, as I have unintentionally entered a season of BDSM. It started with a Hinge profile I found increasingly more triggering and became a full-fledged season when the show I was watching, Normal People, took a dark turn. Both of these touchpoints presented me with the opportunity to explore my discomfort around women finding pleasure in humiliation and/or submission to a male partner.
In this episode, I discuss how BDSM is a common kink in the fitness industry, why I take issue with straight white men only wanting to be the Dom, and how sex is the most vulnerable, ever-changing, and present thing that we do.
I am a firm believer that the dynamics in any sexual encounter should be a reflection of how we feel in that moment, rather than a definitive role one must prescribe to. Predetermined roles are counter-intuitive and the opposite of the nautral world. Have a listen. Explore these themes with your friends and partner, and most of all reflect on your own beliefs.

Happy Sunday,
I knew I had to record this episode because my inner knowing was so clear and immediate that someone needs to hear this – or maybe I just needed to hear myself. I talk about the popularity of Clairvoyance (see images) and Clairaudience (hearing voices) as the expectation and default for being intuitive, and how I receive messages differently. I give the example of how I chose the wrong colour of journal for my business and that my inner knowing was relentless that it had to be green instead of periwinkle. I receive information from my intuition through my "knowing" which is a psychic gift known as Claircognizance. As promised here are the most commonly known intuitive gifts:
MOST IMPORTANTLY: Please note this list is not definitive. There are many more ways we can connect with our inner guide and as humans, we are limited in our comprehension and language. Additionally, I believe what I provided is a working list so please let me know of gifts I have missed.
I also mention my lovely friend Ellen and a conversation she had with her co-host about our desire to receive information via our eyes and ears. I don't know the exact podcast but you can listen to any/all of their episodes here. I HIGHLY recommend giving Woo Knew a listen.
Lastly, I finished recording at 11:11 AM, and (imo) that's a sign!!!
Guiding tarot: Motherpeace's 10 of Cups reversed. There is a collective connection to the source and our individual emotions. A rejoice is happening, that may be overzealous and happening too quickly.
Find me: On ig at @janweile for entrepreneurship and dog videos, or @colourmyaura for ceremonies and spiritual downloads.
I CAN'T STAND IT! Super fired up today, probably related to eclipse season and all other fuckery in the cosmos.
Synopsis: I recently finished a few shifts on a film set where I was IMMEDIATELY reminded how some industries/companies have leaders who avoid taking personal responsibility and use performance reviews to hide their own inadequacies.
In this share, I go to town on how "underperformance" isn't real, and how it is used by managers who have not properly trained or clearly communicated their expectations. I also break down the responsibilities the employee has when they have been assessed as "unfit for the role" – and provide a basic strategy for communicating their needs.
Nothing works me up more than unfairly treated employees in the workplace. So the next time you hear: "Prove Yourself" or "Do You Know Who You Are Talking To?" please refer to this podcast, reach out to me, and know that I am aggroed too. I have a zero-tolerance policy for this archaic, abuse of power, delusion many workplaces are still enforcing. F*ck that shit - you deserve better. Everyone does!
Guiding Tarot: Motherpeace's World (XXI) up and slight right. Description: We are breaking free into a new cycle. The old is completed and many new things are now possible since she has done her work. She wants to be done with the past and move on to the new life (heck yes I do!)
Find me: On ig at @janweile for entrepreneurship and dog videos, or @colourmyaura for ceremonies and spiritual downloads.
This was my third go at recording this message and in it, you'll hear why.
Recently I have questioned my process as a creator because I so lovingly believe(d) in the power of just getting it out there that I rarely took the time to finesse or value what it was that I created. I discovered that my worth is impacted by this belief and that in order to create something with value and true impact, I need to take myself and what I create seriously. I now see that I was devaluing my words, my time, my talent, and my energy but half-assing it. My commitment going forward is to invest in myself (hair and possibly make-up) and in this podcast, by recording it with intention and clarity. I am now creating with the belief that what I have to offer is a gift and who I am is a work of art.
The Power of a Purge is about clearing out stagnant chi from your mind, body, and spirit – on a cellular level. It is about getting rid of the thoughts and memories stored in your being that take up space and prevent you from receiving what you want to come through. It's time for a daily spring cleaning!
Intuitives I rate and mention in this episode include:
Ainslie MacLeod the author of The Instruction: Living the Life Your Soul Intended
Brendan Durrell the intuitive who talked about the importance of uploading on Instagram
This idea came to me today and it is currently marinating. I wholeheartedly believe the evolution of human consciousness is the radical acceptance, belief, and practice of fluid free will.
What does this mean? It means that at any given moment we can change who others know us to be without judgment, explanation, or permanence. In this share, I give the example of how far we have collectively come in my short lifetime of 33 years orbiting the sun. In some places in the world, we are no longer limited to the binary. Meaning we can change our sexual preferences, our marital status, our careers, our nationalities, and our gender (just to name a few) - should we choose. The illusion of the world today tells us we can only be certain things, but as we evolve and face our collective trauma and discomfort of the unknown we awaken to our universal oneness. A world where our species is no longer limiting us from connection due to existing identity beliefs.
Don't get me wrong, there are cultures, beings, and teachings who have always known this, yet as we "evolved" (or I would suggest "devolved") into a hierarchical society we placed notions around right or wrong, good or evil, boy or girl, gay or straight, etc. Our evolution in consciousness, I believe, is the complete and total acceptance of free will and all of its expressions. This means that we understand: as human beings we are ever presented with opportunities to pivot into a new way of being that contradicts our previous way of existing, and that is okay. In fact, it is more than okay. It is the human experience. Life on the physical plane fully lived in a constant state of fluidity.
This has been an orbiting concept that regularly visits my consciousness. By no means do I have it figured out. In the days since recording this, it has become clear to me that a frustration and resistance I have within myself is that my inner sense of self is not reflected in my outer confidence. This has been an ongoing shadow and refusal to admit that my rounded shouldered posture affects how I show up in the world.
I think maybe the true "goal" or natural way of being is when the two align. Also, I'm big into Ainslie MacLeod's work and he shared a great post about this conundrum. He says in his caption: "And sometimes the other person will sense an incongruence between what they see and what they feel. Then, this might send you further down the people-pleasing hole, thinking you need to “try harder,” rather than recognizing the need to be authentic." The whole post can be viewed here.
Enjoy :)
In this share, I explore a theme that's been repeatedly on my mind this past week. It is the assumption that we will die of old age and it just isn't true. If we think of how many friends, relatives, people on the news, and others who have died "too soon" of "before their time" – we realize that our language and our beliefs perpetuate the guarantee of old age – and that there is no incarnation that promises such a lifetime.
Hopefully, without being too depressing, I wonder about how I would show up differently in each moment, how I would change my circumstance today if I didn't think I had my whole life ahead of me to figure things out. It is a short share but for me, it has had profound new thought paths. I hope it'll make you think too.
A great Christmas rom-com book I mention isIn A Holidaze by Christina Lauren - I highly recommend it if you are looking for something light during the holidays :)
Last week I put out another Episode 8 and somehow it felt wrong. At the time I didn't get it. I had received repeated visions of using my throat and I really felt like I had to share on this platform. After recording it I felt out of integrity, so I deleted it.
This week, I've revisited the initial concept of Karmic Anxiety but in a different context. I think one day I will record another share about romantic attachments and how even if in a second, we can connect on a soul level and feel that sense of "we've done this before," but that will be on another day. Maybe Valentine's Day ;p
Anyway, today's share is about the past life fear that prevents me from truly living. My fear of being kidnapped. Almost daily, I have the fear of being followed or that someone will kidnap me - either from my home or whilst I'm walking. What I didn't mention in the share is that a big reason why I cycle everywhere; it feels/seems the safest. If I had to, I would have the option of ditching and running on foot and/or taking pedestrian-only pathways, or can I slip out of sight in traffic. Clearly, I have given escape plans A LOT of thought – and that is what this episode is about.
This is a scratching of the surface of Past Live(s) regression work and I recommend if you are interested in it, you check out Ainslie MacLeod's work. He's been on Oprah's Super Soul Sunday, and many other West Coast woo-woo podcasts. He's the real deal. His books The Instruction: Living the Life Your Soul Intended and The Old Soul Guidebook: Who You Are, Why You're, and How to Navigate Life on Earth Here are bestsellers and if you still aren't sure, check out his ig.
My main intention at the end of this share is that a fear or phobia that you have dismissed is given space. May you recognize what is holding you back, so you can comfort it and hold your soul in the way that no one else can.
Oh boy, where do I even start with this one?! I have been a little confused as to where to take Voice Nodes – and what it ultimately wants to be. In my state of limbo, both with this platform of expression and in general in my life, I have begun to lean into anger as both a teacher and an outlet. The share is about something I witnessed on ABC's The Bachelorette (Season 17) that mimicked something I experienced recently in one of my friendships, and one that resurfaced a buried trauma from with my first love.
My overall sense with Millenials (and probably Gen Z's) and our collective obsession with personal development and psychology are that we are misusing trauma vocabulary and cancelling those who hurt us, under the facade of self-love. When really I believe it is self-preservation and a coping mechanism.
My interest and deep dive, in this share, aims to raise the question: Are we using boundaries to cancel others, instead of engaging in uncomfortable conversations that would exercise our capacity to embody empathy? As I say in the closing remarks, everyone is worried about the long-term effects of the COVID vaccines, and yet no one is questioning the long-term effects of their contribution to cancel culture, as social beings.
May we think twice before we comment to cancel people on Instagram. May we think twice before we share our opinions of others unsolicited, and may we acknowledge that our bias exists and it prevents us from ever fully seeing the entirety of the situation.
Would love to hear your thoughts,
Justine
Welcome to Voice Nodes :D
Finally, it's here!!! My first share with a guest turned friend who I discovered on Instagram and then properly met in this episode. Her name is Allie Berry, an Aura Priestess, the host of her new podcast Spirit Goodies, and an all-around inspiring intuitive who says it like it is. She is an absolute source of wisdom on the tradition of Priestesses, how money amplifies who we are, and discovering a mystical Jesus.
Quick disclaimer, this was my first time doing the audio on a different platform and it wasn't great. I am quite quiet but luckily you can hear Allie perfectly. I recommend cranking the volume.
As always, let me know what you think and you can reach out to Allie via her channels linked at the bottom of the show notes.

Welcome to Voice Nodes :)
This share is personal and filled with rage, but delivered concisely and without aggression. It is definitely worth a lesson for anyone who has been invited into a "social economy" by a friend or family member; otherwise known as a pyramid scheme.
I have recently been presented with an invitation to one and it took me to a very dark place in the questioning of my beliefs and practices. This particular one cultivates a community of wellness/intuitive female practitioners looking to launch themselves in the space. I go into my own experiences with this type of capitalist corruption and I reiterate the importance of questioning whether something demanding our attention is upholding the patriarchal structure of a triangle or offering solutions to reform our current system into a matriarchal circle. I have shared about this extensively on Instagram, see links below, and I really want to invite listeners into sharing their own experience with this type of energy. I believe it was healing for me to share and that there will be healing for others too.
CORRECTION: I also wanted to revisit something I was incorrect about in the share. The partial word "archy" does not directly mean oppression or hierarchy, but rather means "to rule, govern, lead, or chief". Therefore, patriarchy is "a system of society or government in which the father or eldest male is the ruler (governer/leader/chief).
In it, I explore:

Oh boy! I really had a doozy with my intuition over whether or not I should share this recording. As I mentioned in Episode 4: Can't Go Over It, Can't Go Under It I really felt the need to do a retake and tap more into my feelings after recording this share. Get embodied and share from my face, because that's where I was feeling the energy percolating. I did a take two, was feeling it and then that night I felt compelled to take action on something I shared in this episode. The audio share that I thought would never live, but now it needs to! It needs to because next share I will have a guest who I don't know but I sense an encounter of sorts is needed, via our voices. I am most excited, but more importantly, today here is what I was avoiding sharing in the audio share I am now bringing to the light:

Welcome to Voice Nodes :)
This time when I went to record a Voice Nodes share and I was preparing to upload it, I got the message that I avoided my feelings. So I did take two. In this audio share, I express what’s weighing on me today. I woke up with some heavy existential questions and really wondered who I am “supposed” to be, in the eyes of destiny’s plan. With less navigation and flow this is my imperfect reflection of today. In it, it includes:
As an added bonus I've included the childhood jingle I referenced and named today's episode after:

Welcome to Voice Nodes :)
I knew from a meeting with the spirit of Voice Nodes, a drapey goddess of Kuan Yin colours and energy that I would be talking about my struggles to actualise my dream of moving to Portobello Beach in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. I had HUGE reluctance because I hate repeating myself and I am tired of justifying why I have not taken action on a goal that is seemingly easy to accomplish. This share deep dives the Dark Nights of our lives that offer us the opportunity to cultivate new patterns and new outcomes through the process of confronting old behaviours.
The theme and message of this audio share is not rob ourselves of the opportunity and instead shares the experience of dwelling in it a little longer. If you stay in the dark long enough you'll acquire the eyes to see in it. Therefore, I explore:
If you want to further explore ideas and awareness around learning to see in dark, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the following:

P.S. A new piece of this practice that I introduced this week is pulling a MP tarot card facedown and without seeing let it guide me. Today's was Priestess of Swords (Right) ~ channeling thought and confidently doing it.
Welcome to Voice Nodes :)
After last week, it became abundantly clear that this share is not what about what I have gone through, or passing along experiential knowledge, but rather a shared experience of the now. From today onwards this journey is a present invitation to explore and make space for what is needed now. In thought, I realised to give word to past experiences is to live in the past and to fuel imposter syndrome through a means of proving. So join me, in this share and from here on out where I am venturing forward by starting exactly where I am. Unscripted and unaware of where this path will take us.
In this share I arrive before my laptop without a plan, objective, or subject matter - but simply come as I am. This is the theme and message of the audio share. In it, I explore:
My favourite part in creating this vocal share is to spark dialogue, so please share with me your thoughts. Additionally I am working on my intro, outro, and accompanying sounds, so if this is your gift, please let me know what's working and not working.

Welcome to my first share of VOICE NODES!!!
In this episode I step into my shadow as public speaker by launching this podcast. I talk a little bit about my approach and beliefs around starting this, and spend much of our time together deep diving my own personal journey with my throat. I found myself wanting to share so much about the chakras, colour meanings and the elements, how this shows up in intimacy, and many other tangents I could have went off in but instead I tried my best to stick to my past.
I am a little self conscious of the length, but most importantly I'm proud I'm putting it out there. Please let me know what you think and I'm excited to hear about other people's experiences with a particularly sensitive and most likely intuitive body part.
