This week I sat down with Danielle Lazenis to talk about her transition from a 9-5 to being self-employed. Dani is a full-time content creator/ influencer – which is a job that often gets a bad reputation, even though most of us follow influencers. We talk about what being a content creator actually means, whether it's an easy job or not (you know how every influencer says their job is hard and every non-influencer laughs at them), and what I was most interested in: how Dani managed to transition from having a 9-5 job to taking her life into her own control, and whether it was worth it.
We cover:
Why a fashion influencer?
Making 1% improvements/ marginal gains
Whether manifestation is real
How to set goals and actually achieve them !!

Big thanks to my new therapist, Tom Batson, for joining me this week. But in all seriousness, I think this is something that a lot of people in their 20s are feeling and honestly I haven't seen many people speaking candidly about it. And the title is sort of clickbait, because I don't think we really came to a conclusion here.
Listen to Three Pints In on Spotify or Apple Pods etc :)
This week I caught up with Peter Havers, a freelance copywriter who is currently traveling the US to speak to experts and founders in the climate tech industry. Quitting a full-time job to do your own thing is scary. It's even scarier when you don't already have an income from that thing. So we sat down to discuss:
Life in NYC
How we get freelance work
What it means to "own the stage you're at"
Easy self care methods
Spending time alone

The last 2 minute episode went down pretty well so here's another one. They're also like really fun for me to do soooo.
I haven't watched the news for a year and a half and it's been so much fun. Is it selfish? Yes. But I don't need to hear about every minor crime, I don't care about everything happening in politics, and I don't really want to know too much about what's going on with the economy. I'm not saying become a zen monk and retreat to the mountains far away, but if you want to keep up with the news, maybe just thin about what you're genuinely interested in rather than just absorbing everything that's thrown at you
See you Monday for the next full-length episode! It's going to be a saucy one.
I caught up with Emily, co-founder of Mighty Slice to talk about how and why she took the career move from law to protein desserts?!
We're talking:
How to align your actions with what you want out of life
Embracing change
Breaking big goals down into little, manageable goals
If you enjoyed this episode please leave a rating on Spotify or Apple pods!! I get extremely happy when I see the number go up!! See you on soon for another episode <3
A very quick reminder for myself and for you. Find something that brings you joy everyday :)

This was a selfish episode. Mark is a PT with a really refreshing and balanced mindset - I wanted to get him in to debunk some of the most common diet and fitness myths and teach me how to create a sustainable workout plan. Even if you're not into the gym, I think this episode will benefit anyone who wants to start living a sliiiightly healthier life.
I know there can be a lot of pressure to achieve your dream bod, and that's not what I'm trying to promote here. But staying healthy and getting fit for the right reasons is so important and that's our focus here. Small changes make the biggest difference - everyone is somewhere on that 1000 step staircase! One step at a time.

Holly Rollins is a spatial and furniture designer, and the founder of Rol Studio. We're talking inner critics, staying focused, and self reflection.
This episode gets deeeep and I wouldn't have it any other way!!
We all have that voice in our head that tells us we're not enough, not doing enough, or we could be working harder. Sometimes I kind of like it, because it helps keep us on track. Without it, we literally wouldn't do anything at all. But when it gets too much, or you pay it too much attention it can make you feel like shit. Holly talks me through how she keeps it in check.
