๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฒ๐ท๐ฐ๐ผ ๐- 2024 is your year to stay focused. You do so by staying connected to God. In doing so allows the Holy Spirit to do a mighty work in you so that you can gain spiritual awareness of when your thoughts start to drift into darkness. What you dwell on in 2024 will determine the success for the year. Even if you are in a situation right now in this season of your life that is beyond frustrating, overwhelming, and stressful, you can focus on how difficult it is or you can focus on the fact that God is keeping you and that it wonโt always be like this; just remain faithful and see how God will continue to bless you. You have the power to choose your focus so what will it be in 2024?
๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฒ๐ท๐ฐ๐ผ ๐- Peace is not something to pray for because itโs already given to you according to John 14:27. God is peace and entering into His presence automatically gives you such a peace that cannot be explained. No matter what you are facing today, set the atmosphere by putting on gospel music, reading an uplifting faith filled book, listening to a sermon or podcast, but most importantly, getting into the Word.Obedience leads to so many blessings and abundance as we read in Deuteronomy and when you continue to walk in the way that God has for you, there will always be peace, even in the time of difficulty.Being faithful to what God has called you to do with the little that you may have moves the hand of God. Stop waiting for bigger and better. Work with what you have and you watch how God opens up the door for you!
๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฒ๐ท๐ฐ๐ผ ๐- It is so important to know who you are. In a culture that settles for anything where people want to do what everyone else is doing, it is so easy to get caught up and lose your identity. The message I share in todayโs podcast encourages you to find yourself. Just because todayโs generation lacks integrity does not mean that that has to be your story. Learn you. Understand you so that you can obtain all that God has for you in this lifetime, lacking no good thing.
๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฒ๐ท๐ฐ๐ผ ๐- Todayโs episode shares with you 6 different things that you should do as a single regardless of your age or gender. Marriage is not the end goal in life. Answering the call and walking out your purpose is, and in order to do so, you need to have the right people in your corner; develop an intimate and personal relationship with God; take on hobbies; learn how to be financially free; understand who you are; and most importantly, be content with your life no matter the season or circumstance. The list does not end with these 6 things. As you begin to truly live as a satisfied and content single, you will see the move of God in your life like never before!
๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฒ๐ท๐ฐ๐ผ ๐- It takes so much strength, courage, and humility to walk a path of purity in a culture that is saturated in sex. What was once viewed as a kidโs show is now seen with an underlying sexual connotation. Teen shows are now becoming the new adult shows. You cannot watch a good television show or movie without some form of sexual content. From the books we read to the music we listen to, it is everywhere. . To maintain a path of purity relies heavily on God. To constantly deny your flesh takes hard work, discipline, and most importantly, self-love. Youโre going to make mistakes. Youโre going to do things that are not pleasing to God. But what do you do when that happens? Do you run away and hide just like Adam did after he ate from the tree God told him not to (Genesis 3:8)? No. Go to God. He wants us to run to Him. To find safety, peace, grace, mercy, comfort, healing, love, redemption, cleansing, and forgiveness in Him. This journey is one that was never meant to do alone. Invite God in. Let Him help you. Let Him guide you and show you the steps in which you should take. Your reward will be great for honoring Him!
๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฒ๐ท๐ฐ๐ผ ๐- Self Care is needed now more than ever. We work in a fast paced society where stress is the common norm. We must work to financially survive. We have to constantly show up in our family. We must do this. We have to do that. It is never ending. However, in order to truly live the life that God intended for us to live, we have to learn to take care of ourselves. Our emotional, social, environmental, physical, spiritual, mental, and recreational wellbeing is needed to survive and thrive in this lifetime!
๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฒ๐ท๐ฐ๐ผ ๐- The goal of counseling is not for you to become fully dependent on it but for you to be able to walk away with tools to continuously foster your change and growth. I loved my experience with counseling. Although I only went for 2-3 months (started out as weekly sessions and then dropped to biweekly), I saw and felt drastic change within my thought process and how I saw myself. I 1000% recommend counseling to anyone and everyone. It is not for anyone else but you. To be honest, no one needs to know that you go. I did not tell my family or friends until I was coming down to the end of my sessions. From abuse to not understanding why you donโt see yourself the way God sees you can all be addressed with counseling. In all that you do, pray about it as you begin the journey. ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฒ๐ท๐ฐ๐ผ ๐- I donโt know about you but I donโt want to date around. I rather focus on my purpose, get involved in things, try out new hobbies and talents, start something (e.g. a business), excel at something, or finish something (e.g. school), travel, hang out with friends, and stay connected to family. As I live my life, I know that God will allow the right man to step in in due season!
๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฒ๐ท๐ฐ๐ผ ๐- My prayer for you through listening to this episode is that you find peace in your singleness. Singleness is a beautiful place to be in, and not everyone can see nor understand that. Surround yourself with people who will encourage you to wait on Godโs timing. Be encouraged. You are beyond blessed.

I have learned to go to God to fulfill the desires of my heart (attention, companionship, intimacy) rather than man even though, if I am completely honest, I would want to. I have learned to become independent and do things for me. I have learned to embrace my singleness so much that there is a fear of if marriage is a part of Godโs Will for my life. If you have had the same thoughts and sometimes feel the way I do, then this episode is just for you!

God knows exactly what He is doing when it comes to your life. He knows your end from your beginning. When you come to know Him as your Heavenly Father, you will learn that every detail in your life is not by chance, coincidence, or accidental. It is God orchestrating your footsteps as you come into your purpose. God ordains certain things to happen in our life as well as cause certain people to enter and/or exit our lives so that we can grow in Him, learn to trust the unseen, and obtain all that He wants to give us. Your steps are ordered by God. Allow Him to lead and direct you!
So often, we get caught up in wanting to be like the next person and wanting to have everything they have that we end up not truly seeing the beauty in ourselves. When God calls you, He desires you to embrace everything that He has created you to be. When He sets you apart, itโs because He wants to use you. When He isolates you for a season, itโs because He wants to pour into you. Donโt run from it but towards it because you are called to go higher.
We may not ever understand or know why someone does not want to be in our lives especially when we are good people. People only make time for what they want so if they are not making the time for you, that is a clear indicator that you are not that important to them. Donโt ever force yourself to be in someoneโs life. Go where you are wanted and appreciated, not tolerated.

Just because your relationship status is single does not mean you cannot offer relational advice, especially when it comes to romance. I believe that the way you currently do relationships in all aspects is a strong indicator of what your romantic relationship looks like.
Take a stand today and say, โFrom this day forward, I refuse to give people power over me. I refuse to come out of character because of them.โ Be encouraged and donโt ever stop being who God created you to be!
