We're going inside fintech. So whether you’re an accountant, a business owner, interested in all things mainly B2B Fintech and what makes them tick. We’ll give you our insights in less time than it takes to get from London to Brighton.
Join Adam and Phil as we catch-up for a long overdue episode of Inside Fintech. We talk phone number spoofing, Fintech news, accounting events and most importantly about Phil's new Inside Fintech Podcast. The Story of... which is launching on 16th October 2023. You can find out more about his new amazing podcast via this link
We can't get away from what is happening at Twitter. Fintech's have relied on Twitter to grow and provide customer service for years, so can anyone now trust the platform, especially with their money?
Adam and Phil catch-up to discuss what has happened, why it's like Ghostbusters 2, Gerald Ratner and Woolworths.
We also managed to talk about Xero and their changes at the top.
Adam & Phil are back to fill your ears with Fintech. It's been a while and Phil has been a busy boy. So, it's basically Adam interviewing Phil and Adam making puns. Some good, some not so good. Don't worry we talk about other Fintech things. Why we think the tech behind Reducer and Flux should be saved, rants about receipts... in 2022, it's still a thing.
Anyway, enjoy this very lightly edited edition of Inside Fintech! It's a thing of beauty.
After a long summer holiday break, Inside Fintech is back to fill your ears with the thoughts from Adam & Phil for an action packed 25 minutes. If that hasn't got you hungry for more, then... we don't know, go and have your breakfast, lunch or dinner and swing back and have a listen,
We ask, is the Accounting Excellence Awards the Oscars of the accounting world? Apparently, it's not, tune in to hear which awards Phil really thinks they are like.
We discuss some of the bigger winners as well as the newcomers and rising stars.
How did they cope with the Queens death just as the doors opened?

Welcome to the latest episode of inside fintech with your host Adam Clarke. In this episode we focus on the amazing $210m story of Paddle acquiring ProfitWell, so amazing in fact that they made it into a documentary.
So, I caught up with their Chief Marketing Officer, Andrew Davies to find out more about the experience and what these two companies will bring to the SaaS payments space.
If you're wondering whether you need to watch the documentary before listening to this podcast don’t worry, I have included snippets throughout which will give you a flavour of the documentary and what they went through during that time. That said, I definitely recommend watching We Sign Tomorrow.
So, without further ado I hope you enjoy the episode as much I enjoyed putting it together.
Adam & Phil are back to discuss the state of the Fintech world. Focusing on a recent article in the Economist. "After a golden decade, fintech faces its first true test." They believe that rising interest rates and a slowing economy will shock the Fintech business model. Are we seeing Fintech's first real down turn or is it a correction to the levels it probably would have been without the pandemic?
We also discuss BNPL and other Fintech news that caught our eyes this week.
We hope you enjoy this episode and visit our website for ways to keep the conversation going!
Adam & Phil
Join Adam and Phil for their first official Inside Fintech Podcast! Yes, no more pre-launch silliness (Okay, there's still a bit of silliness). We discuss the Digital Accountancy Show and Xerocon in July. We look at the rise of event SWAG and does the industry have a problem? Plus, news from the industry that caught our eye recently. Have a listen, it's really good, but then we would say that. But honestly it is, it's like we've been doing it for years.
Yes, it's another pre-launch podcast, not only an opportunity to test out our tech etc. but to hopefully talk about things you're interested in. It's one where Adam and Phil finally get together to discuss what was arguably the best Accountex ever. So, what's in this Pre-launch Podcast? We hear you ask! Completely unscripted and very lightly edited, Adam sounds a bit like a robot at times, Phil fails to get a word in edge ways (occasionally) and we talk about trying and failing to meet up with friends, swag culture, parties, (oh the parties). We ask the big questions, like is Phil Hobden an A-lister speaker? Plus, we discuss some of the biggest announcements from the show, looking at you Futrli and we hear from Inside Fintech Friends Darren Glanville and Zoe Lacy-Cooper on what they thought of Accountex.
