What conqueror have you seen or heard of, that has never won a battle? Never overcame a challenge? There’s none, as every conqueror has not only faced a challenge but overcame it. Here, we hear from spiritual warlords, glean from their wisdom learned In battles they've won, battles they're still in the midst of, their past and current walk of faith, books and poetry they've written, and further nuggets they desire to impart into uprising victors.

Eye ContactAm I the only one,That gets weird with eye contacts?Short, and to the point,Is the best way to goBut long and extended, With each bearing into the other’s soul,Makes me feel exposed.Beyond 30 seconds,And it becomes a sacred, personal atmosphere Only fit for lover’s and crushes.Or so my mind and body tell me.Do you agree?Let’s dispute over the matter.Am I narrow-minded, and been far too sheltered? What’s the longest that’s to be maintained,Before crossing past the unspoken boundary?Or do I just wait for the uncomfortable feeling in my skin, and the irritability in my stomach,To know the boundary line is drawing a little bit too thin16th April 2023

I See You

I see you.

I feel you.

I’m right there with you.

I see you.

I hear you.

I haven’t forgotten about you.

I see you.

I know you.

I like you.

I see you.

I understand.

No, I don’t think you’re crazy.

I see you.

I know what it feels like.

I can relate to everything you’re feeling.

I see you.

Tell me all.

Yes, I see you,.

I see you.

I love you.

Come into my arms.

“You’re Not Alone❤”

Title: I See You. I Hear You. I Feel You

By TheGLyricist

Excerpt

(God’s Response)

“I see you. I hear you.

I know you. I feel you

Breath, just breath.

There’s more to you,

Than, so far, you have seen.

In, then out.

In and out.

Grab ahold of my hand.

Let me rescue you from your doubts.

I’m nothing but a call away.

Call my name. Say a prayer.

Your Soul I’ll take.

If you let me have it.

I’m with you on the ground.”

Rebounded

Hah! It was quite a sight, wasn’t it?

The moments I mumbled incoherently,

Fearful of the littlest of movements and unfamiliar sounds.

Periods of sanity, mingled with confusion, illusions and delusions.

Distorted perceptions, weird thoughts – I held onto dearly.

But it was merely comedy to you, wasn’t it?

I saw you laughing happily.

Countless hours, “why me?”, plagued my mind

“I know I’m sane, but why do I behave so unbalanced?”

“I didn’t imagine what I saw, I didn’t make up what I heard. Why’s that so hard to believe?”

Hah! But look at me now. Look at me!

Ain’t your source of pleasure no more, aren’t I?

How you liking it? It’s driving you nuts, ain’t it?

I Rebounded.

Scriptural Reference:

From your presence let my vindication come! Let your eyes behold the right!

Psalm 17:2

Poem Title: Am I Blameless Before You?

Excerpt:

" Judge Not And You Will Not Be Judged "

Only You, Father, Have The Power To Save

And Withold From Saving.

You See Me Through And Through,

Yea, Even The Deepest Part Of Me.

In Sin Did My Mother Conceive Me,

Yea, You Have Neither Rejected Nor Condemned Me.

Accusations Fly In From The Four Corners Of The Earth,

You Who Have Always Seen My Heart,

Would You Speak On My Behalf?

Discontent. Jealousy.

Lost in another world.

Swallowed into another realm.

A place where I have what I want,

Possess all that I’m envious of,

My imagination.

“No need to say another word,

they don’t want to hear me anyway.”

Only God sees me, wants me,

I might as well be molded into clay, as statue,

Set on some mountain somewhere, in another nation.

Longings, that are never quenched.

“What if I could be touched like she was?

Fought over and possessively grasped by the palm?”

I look on intently, etching every affectionate gesture on the canvas on my mind.

Don’t seek to discover my thoughts, lest I die of humiliation.

“What’s wealth? What’s fame? What’s assets?

What’s a billion dollars in my account,

If I lack one whom tenderly calls my name?

For I lust not after money, fame or assets,

Just recognize me! See me! Want me! Call me!

I sink deeper in this crippling depression.”
