In this episode, Anjali Kumar and Lawrenceville school counselor Dr. Balcom discuss how the pandemic has affected human connections and provide some mental health tips. Stay strong everyone- we know it is hard right now, but brighter days are ahead. Try to stay as socially connected as possible (socially distanced/virtually), create some routines, try out some new hobbies, practice gratitude, and remember that this will get better if we work to prevent the spread of the virus by carefully following safety protocols. RESOURCES: Feel free to reach out to the following counselors if you would like to talk to someone. As Dr. Balcom said in the episode, do not hesitate to contact someone outside of school/in the Lawrenceville area to do TeleHealth (virtual) therapy sessions if you would feel more comfortable doing so.
