Forming the right habits in these five major areas of our lives is a guaranteed recipe for success
We all need master habits that serve as a foundation for other habits to be built on. What master habits do you need to form based on who God wants you to be?
Ecclesiastes 11:4 NKJV says “He who observes the wind will not sow, And he who regards the clouds will not reap.”
To be honest, a good habit can be difficult to form. I am sure we can identify with apostle Paul’s frustrations in Romans 7:15 NLT where he said: “I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate.” So with this in mind, how do we form good habits?
If you want to imbibe the right spiritual habits, just study and follow the habits of Jesus.
Judas was one of the chosen 12 disciples of Jesus. He was destined to be great like Peter, James, John or any other apostle but he let his bad habits destroy him.
God’s purpose for Samson was for him to deliver Israel from the Philistines but did Samson’s habits support that purpose?
Moses was a man like you and me but the bible tells us that God spoke with Moses face to face, ‘the way a man speaks to his friend.’ How did Moses get to that level with God?
Hebrews 13:2 NLT says “Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!”
You’ll understand why David was a man after God’s heart when you listen to the kind of habits he had.
