Hello, lovelies! We are in the thick of Eclipse Season! How are you feeling? This one's been so real for me so in lieu of an October second half episode, I'd love to share with you this deep dive with Grace Yap on the eclipses that we're currently moving through.
This energy feels unpredictable yet so deep and filled with so many gems. Around the 15th of October (gmt+8), we had a Libra Solar Eclipse, continuing a cycle that's just began when the nodes shifted in July of this year, while on the 29th (gmt+8), we have a Taurus lunar eclipse ending a cycle which began in November 2021.
Both of these eclipses are Venus ruled bringing our attention to relationships, values, and the remembrance that everything in this world is a reflection.

We have some big transits currently going on and I'd love to share some of what I'm receiving with you through this epsiode.
On the 15th of May, Mercury stationed direct in Taurus after being retrograde since April 22. On the 17th of May, Jupiter has moved into sensual and earthy Taurus and will be there until the 25th of May 2024, so this is a big change in pace considering that he just spent time in fiery Aries. Something to consider though, when a bigger planet moves; we don't really feel the effects until a couple of weeks after, once it has all settled in ~ so if you're not feeling the switch up quite yet, allow yourself to really ground into the present and slowly, it will begin unraveling.

“Cultural Appropriation... Classically it can be applied to Tantra. Tantra is an incredible tool, an incredible technology to unlock the power that’s hidden within you & you do that through several different yogic practices: Sadhana, mantras, yantra and meditation, movement; several different things that can invoke this power - this energy to rise up so that you’re fully conscious of who you are and your purpose here on this earth. That’s basically what Tantra is all about but, you know, cultural appropriation and the western indoctrination... The power has been so related to your sexual power, because a lot of times when we feel this energy moving within us, it does move into these spaces that are sexual: your womb space, your yoni, all these different parts within you: your Svashisthana (or sacral) chakra which is responsible for creation and creativity.
So what has happened that this energy has been mistaken for sexual acts, sexual practices and sacred sexuality. Nothing is wrong with that - but that’s cultural appropriation to the T. Like you’ve taken just what is sacred and applied it to just have good sex or to get great orgasms or sometimes it’s even shameful in saying that you know, ‘this has helped me reach to different levels of consciousness and have great sex with different sex partners.’ I think that’s so ignorant. If you just type tantra in google, all you’re going to be graced with is tantric sex and different sexual stuff and that really embarrasses me because first of all, you’re completely disregarding such a powerful technology to awaken into yourself by degrading something so sacred to a sexual act which is completely different to sexuality and sexual energy and the sexual power and the creation force because you wanna have great orgasms.”

I think it’s so hard to put it just in one sentence but I think if you’ve ever thought about it, then do it. There is nothing to lose. I mean seriously, we were all taught to follow a certain path but life is much more than that. Life is waiting for us to create something; to do something, you know. So, go there, create it, do it. Create the life of your dreams because it is possible. Life is much more than we were taught it is so I think if you have the call, just do it because life is waiting for you to do it.
That is really our mission. Our mission is really to let people know that you can live the life you want so live the life you want. The path you have now is not the only path you can have so live the life that you want. Write down what you want, and then do it.”

"Animals definitely have a shadow but they don’t have an ego like humans do which is why they’re some of my favorite physical spiritual teachers. Because yes, seeing them and doing their shadow work, we can align with that but we don’t need to take in the ego side of it. We can learn to untame ourselves. We can learn so much about community, so much about courage, strength; so much about love, safety, connection in the most quintessential, primal essence of what we’ve all once lived through and… we often forget we were animals first. That’s where we all came from. So really, as we continue to decondition and come back to our pure wild, yes, using animals as those teachers and our guides, they are so so overlooked so I’m trying to call back the importance to saying ‘hey, we literally have so many walking incarnations of Spirit that we ignore, dismiss, label; you know, we’re labelling Spirit Guides as they walk this earth — it’s crazy. So yeah, just seeing them in their pure potential of these great ascended masters and/or new souls we can work with as well, for sure.”

We speak about the “Age of Aquarius” coming up. Saturn and Jupiter came together in Aquarius tomorrow and it’s a huge deal. We speak about what this may look like for the new world.
We also talk about being human and sometimes how even though we know exactly what needs to be done, our human-ness gets in the way. We also speak about how we can use being on this planet at this time as an advantage or disadvantage, it’s all upto us. We’re both also entering our Saturn returns so clearly, we’ve been doing “the work.” Nobody said the work is easy though and it definitely gets a little lighter to navigate when you have souls you love and that understand you on a different level.
