This week we speak with Myron.  He's the father of two young children.  A 6 year old girl and a 3 year old boy.  Myron talks to us the difference of how he communicates with each of his two children.  Myron recalls learning some of the lessons that he from his dad as well as his expectations for his own children as they get older.

Today we meet Moses.  Moses tells us about being the child of immigrants and having to balance the culture that he's living in and the culture that his parent grew up with.  At the time of this recording, Moses is the father of a three year old son.   He speaks of growing up with a dad who had an authoritarian style.  However, Mose has chosen a more communicative style with his son.   Moses tells us about conversations that he's had with is son and what he's looking forward to in his fatherhood journey.

This week we meet Carlos.  At the time of this interview, Carlos is the father to an infant.   He tells us about the lessons that his father taught him as a youth.  Carlos tells about some of his fondest memories with him and his dad growing up in Washington Heights in New York City.   As Carlos embarks on his fatherhood journey, his story indicates that he's fortunate to have in his dad, an example that he can withdraw inspiration from.

This week, we speak with Omar.  Omar is the father to two girls.  He has a great relationship with his dad and he tells us about how some of his dads' "old school" habits seeped into Omars' brand of fathering.  Omar tells us that the memories of his dad are great ones.   He talks about how his father's sense of humor and lightness of spirit helped his family through some tough times in Omar's childhood.

This week we speak with Robert.  He is the father or three.  He describes his dad as being a person who communicated more with his actions than his words.  Robert explains that he began realize more about his father's efforts, when Robert himself became a father.  Robert tells that communication with his children is vital.  We discuss alcoholism, family vacations, and much more.

In this episode, we speak with Patrick.  Patrick is the dad to a 10 year old boy.  Like the rest of the guests that have been on the program, he reflects on his time as a son and how it relates to his time as a dad.  Patrick describes his dad as a cut and dry kind of guy.  Patrick and his dad bonded over sports and he carries that into how he bonds with his son.   Patrick helps to tell the story that fatherhood can be a generational thing in which the methods are passed down from one generation to the next.

This week we speak with Juan A.  Juan is the father of six children.  He began his fatherhood journey as a step dad to 4 children and then 2 biological children.  Juan takes such pride and finds such joy in fatherhood that he refers himself as a six time champion because he is the father to six children.  He talks to us about all of the lessons that he has learned from his father and how he attempts to relay what he has learned to his children.

In this week's episode, we meet Chris.  Chris is the father of two young adults.  He speaks with us about the lessons that he learned from his dad.  He speaks to us about a traumatic event that had a huge impact on his family when he was young.  He recognizes that the relationship between him and his dad was rather complicated.  Chris talks to us about some of his fondest childhood memories.  He also talks to us about his mindset in raising children of his own.  Chris states that being honest with his children was very important to him.  He explains this to us and more.

This week we meet Larry.  Larry tells us about becoming a father to three young children before eventually becoming the father to two biological children.   Larry grew up in Mississippi where he was raised by his stepfather, while his biological father was more in the background.  Larry is able to speak to the differences in the two men and how their impact has an effect on Larry's parenting style today.
