In the wake of the Covid pandemic, we can notice that a myopic focus on a single sector doesn't work, if it ever did. “Educate Us!” is a new podcast about the intersection of education with other sectors. The pod unpacks and synthesizes education in the news across sectors. Education is on the front line of social, economic, and political debates and a site of continuous regulation, legislation, and policy intervention. Education and social researchers investigate how power and influence work above and below the surface, and around the world: who has it, who defies it, who’s denied and amplified? And what’s education have to do with it? The podcast is produced by Project Ilumina Media and hosted by the co-founders of Project Ilumina, a cooperative providing professional services to the ed, tech, and non-profit sectors in research, DEIB, and change collaboration.
