Well, this is not what we were expecting from this team as we reached the all star break. The Blue Jays are 44-52 were 14 games back in the AL East and we are the 5th worst team in the American League. The more things change, the more things stay the same. The Blue Jays welcomed in the red hot Minnesota Twins into town and it went exactly like we thought it would. Twins take two out of three against the Blue Jays as they scored just 3 runs in the two losses.
First we talk about what the plan is going to look like for the Jays in the rest of this season. Do we Retool and compete again in 2025? Hold and hope the guys get hot? Or Fire everyone and start the rebuild.
We had three very interesting pitching performnaces this series. Kikuchi with his best start as a Blue Jay, Alek Manoah had his best start in a long long time and Gausman struggled against the Twins yet again.
