The Mental Health Coffee Time project is intended to be an open forum to write and discuss mental health issues and stories. Our project has a dual weekly format: every Sunday, we will release a podcast about a key mental health topic; in addition, we will release a blog post which will further discuss the issues in the podcast.
Our hosts Nina and Andrew discuss their internal dialogues among their "inner selves" and how they have integrated these perspectives over time.
Our hosts Nina and Andrew discuss their past experiences coping with and overcoming depression.
Our host Andrew is joined by our first guest on the podcast, Jane, who offers some insights into the mind-body connection from her yoga training and clinical psychology studies.
Our hosts Andrew and Nina discuss how "true love" and romantic relationships have impacted their own self-image and mental health, and how they have changed their approach to dating over time.
Our hosts Andrew and Nina discuss the value of kindness in their lives and its role in helping them improve their mental health.
Our hosts Andrew and Nina discuss how they have found motivation in different stages of their lives, and how their motivations have changed over time.
Our hosts Andrew and Nina discuss their experience with intrusive thoughts and some strategies they have found useful in creating more mental peace.
Our hosts Andrew and Nina introduce Mental Health Coffee Time and talk about a foundational time in their mental health journey, high school.
