Jehovah Has Remembered: Convictions and Compassion: Recent Episodes

Zachary Anderson

If small talk where everyone agrees is what you are looking for, this podcast might not be for you. Life is too short to avoid the joyful, exciting, and most pressing topics individuals can discuss. On this podcast, we call that "Big Talk". Our simple yet serious goal is to discuss humans and their experiences through the eyes of varying worldviews. Together, listeners, why don’t we, bravely, hoist the flag of expressing personal CONVICTIONS and have COMPASSION for those who disagree?

I think it's okay to be both bold and decent to each other again (even online). We just might thrive on it!

As you will hear she does so in unique ways, that she is gifted in. What career, hobby, or common interest has God given you to use for the glory of God, in making disciples?

A serious and enjoyable discussion a variety of questions and answers found in Scripture of serving the Lord with fellow Christians among every Tribe, Tongue, and Nation. The following are a few topics that Zachary and Logan examine as we close out a year seemingly unable to be a part of overseas and local ministries:

  1. How does a Christian help overseas with the effort to not hurt the Christian Churches that are native to the places we go around the world?
  2. How can God use Christians who have the resources and Biblical training to go overseas?
  3. How can God use Christians who cannot go for physical or any number of reasons to aid those who are going to the nations?

This interview was recorded on a video chat app while Covid 19 was spiked in our area as the year 2020 came to a close.

Seth is currently making disciples in the County of Spain as a representative of the IMB (International Mission Board); the missionary division of the Southern Baptist Convention.  They discuss answers of what an individual worker can do in perilous and pristine times for the proclamation of the Gospel. Topics discussed include life in quarantine, Bible studies over the internet, and what life is like as in a foreign context at the time of this recording in 2021.
