Earlier today, THORSwap conducted the final stage of its IDO on THORChain.
In the minutes before trading was enabled for the general public, the community was frustrated to see large transactions being executed by whales front-running the public on-sale.
To the communities surprise, the large transactions had come from THORChain's own treasury - a fact that understandably sparked disappointment and outrage amongst many of the would-be investors.
In this quick emergency pod, I had the chance to sit down (in person!) with THORChain Lead Dev Chad Barraford, for an impromptu conversation about what transpired, the mistakes that were made, and some thoughts on what the next steps might be to make things right for the community.

This week, I had the pleasure of chatting with TheThorLady. Anyone who is active in the THORChain community recognizes TheThorLady as one of the best ambassadors for the THORChain community.
TheThorLady is passionate about not only THORChain, but she has a knack for identifying game-changing defi protocols before they pop.
This is something I have noticed on more than one occasion, which made me extremely excited to talk to her today.

Today, we have a special live edition of the RUNEBase podcast. I went live with @ChrisGHeree to discuss the launch of our new NFT project, ThorGuards.
ThorGuards have been in the pipeline for some time now and we are ecstatic to launch this project to the THORChain and RUNEBase community.

Welcome back to another installment of the RUNEBase podcast. This week, I had the pleasure of speaking with three of my contemporaries from 0xVentures.
I spoke with AiRTX, THE BULL, and UncleBadgers, two of the founders and one of the leaders of the 0xVentures DAO.
The 0xVenture DAO is something you all might be familiar with, but essentially, it's a group of about 80 people - traders, investors, builders, developers, entrepreneurs - who come together primarily on a discord server and work on different projects together. They build, grow, and invest together all within a DAO structure.

This is the second episode in a 2-part series on the recent THORChain attacks. In the first episode, I was joined by Chris from GrassRoots Crypto and RUNEBase's own Tratium, and we discussed what happened over the past few weeks as the THORChain network underwent a series of exploits and attacks.

July was a pretty wild time for the THORChain ecosystem.
THORChain suffered a series of exploits throughout July, and it really shook the community and took us all by surprise.
During that time, there was a lot of uncertainty and fear around what was going on.
Now that things have calmed down, we wanted to take some time to take a deep dive into what happened so that you are up to date.
So today, in part one of our two-part series, we will be talking to two great guests that really know their shit.
We will be talking to Chris from GrassRoots Crypto, and RUNEBase's own Tratium. The three of us will explain exactly what went down in the series of exploits that took place over the course of the last 3-4 weeks:
-Exploit 1 - Whitehat ERC-777
-Exploit 2 - Router Wrapping Exploit. ETH deposit transactions. Caused ETH out of pool.
-Post-Exploit Error - Premature network restart before ETH pool balanced. Arbs made pool insolvent.
-Exploit 3 - Tricking Bifrost. ERC20's drained for $7.7M of ERC20s including $4.xM XRUNE. Dumped on Sushi.
-Bonus - UNIH ERC20 expliot
THORChain will come out of this stronger than ever and is working towards a brighter future, and we want to thank our community for sticking by us and continuing to grow THORChain with us.
