Picture Perfect seems to be just a fairy tale or a fantasy to so many but the God of Abraham, Jacob, and Issac has declared that He is God almighty. God is not slack concerning His word. If He said it, then He only ask that we believe.
On the other end of the spectrum Satan has painted a picture for so many and they see it to be perfect but God's words says that there is only pleasure for a season.

Ever wondered why the picture of your life doesn't correlate with what you think it should look like? Abraham believed God and it was counted as righteousness because of faith. What God has called us too, will match our expectation of what we think it should look like. God's plans for us are so strategic and every step will point us and others to Him. His plans are for good and to prosper us, to give us a future and a hope!

Think about how often you become annoyed with life and people around you. We instead of being distracted with the annoyance, shift your focus to the assignment. The assignment carries so much more weight than the annoyance! God has purpose and we are placed on purpose for His purpose. Don't lose sight of the calling just because our walk with God doesn't look like what you think it should look like. Be steadfast and continue to walk out the assignment even if your whole world is crumbling.

Part 7 sheds light on how we are to give just like God gave us His son. The gift of love to all people. Yes, even those that don't deserve it. Not everyone will received our love with open arm and we continue to see this so obviously in our current society. Something to think about when giving to all, that a gift is a gift not a prize. A prize is what we receive as an accomplishment. Also, take to heart that love concours all things. Because God is love!

Part 6 brings our attention to how we should be encouraging our brothers and sisters in Christ. This encouragement may not be pleasant to the ears but it will be good for the heart of those that are struggling or going astray. This encouragement must be accompanied by love as we walk according to the commandment of God's word to strengthen the brethren.

In Part 5 this is were the rubber meets the road. Question after question and scripture after scripture we find out what 2 key principles of the Christian faith. Worship and the Fear of God. These two priciples are often ignored within the life of most self-proclaimed Christians. This message will highlight if these traits are visible or lacking in your walk with God.

Within Part 4, truth will be hard to swallow but this truth will cause us to be refined into the precious jewel that God created. God isn't refining us to bring harm our way but to remove all of the things that has caused us to be impure. The fire is hot but if we allow this fire to change our molecular structure, the very things that are not of God will be revealed. They will appear and this will be the opportunity to become so much more valuable. Just like God stood in the fire with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and kept them from harm, He wants to do the same for you. Will you let Him refine you?

Part 3 is reeling beginning to reel in how much we are accountable in our practical wisdom. Self-control is not a very popular topic but if the word of God addresses it then we must spend time in His heart to bring understanding within our actions. When an individual practices for a particular event or task they must be disciplined and intentional in every move. We have to know that this practice will be put to the test. In Part 2, the Holy Spirit gets straight to the point. The second trait that supplements our faith is knowledge. This is simply defined as "Practical Wisdom". Putting into practice the knowledge that God has been and is speaking to us often! When we fail to operate in this trait, Peter says that we are short sighted and blind. If we could view this perspective that when we fail to practice this knowledge then we are walking in disobedience. King Saul found this to be true because his obedience was incomplete and this caused him to be rejected. What has God been speaking to you that you are neglecting to follow and place into practice? Listen closely within this message and hear what Holy Spirit has to say, and you will find that all He wants to do is bring us to the Heart of God!

God gave me a specific disclaimer to speak to each individual that inclines their ear to this series. As we are beginning a new series, I know within my Spirit that if we could pay attention to the detail of all that God will reveal to each one under the sound of His voice, He wants to excel you into deeper fellowship and deeper understanding of revelation within this series. The depth of how you allow this word to reach will be reflected within your faith. Peter gives us specific instruction on how to supplement the grace of God upon our lives. And he encouraged the church that if they would apply these attributes, that they would never fall way. We are given the same if we can place into practice these very qualities!

Pastor Gabe brought an amazing word from God's heart this morning. As he used James for the example of not who we see ourself as but who we actually are in Christ. A bondservant to the most high. James could have stated himself as the brother of Jesus but chose to state his true identity as a disciple of the Kingdom of God.

In the closing of this series, it’s vital to allow part 8 to hone in on all the other positioned that we have preached on. Part 8 places emphasis of our full surrender to God's will while neglecting our own.

Part 7 brings continual insight on revelation. Seeing and hearing are key to understanding the plans that God has for our lives but this type of seeing and hearing must be revealed to us by His everlasting word. Within today’s message, we will show the statistics of how often the believer is reading God's word and how often a believer reads determines how much change is visual in their life. As King Aram sought to stop the voice of the Prophet Elisha (the direction of God) for Israel, Satan too is striving to make God's revelation silent in your life. You have to make a right now decision and allow your actions to proclaim your out loud choice.

Positioned to Hear......Which voice are you hearing and which voice are you responding to? Are you hearing the truth but choosing to reject it? When we fail to harken to the truth of God's word (JESUS) we have ultimately chose a lie. Will you except the truth and be set free by the precious blood the Jesus so willingly gave for us.

Part 5 is about the Position to lead. But we must understand that this is not only a stance for Pastors and Leaders in the church but for every single Christian. God wants to Position us to Lead people! The great commision covers this as a commandment from Jesus before He ascended to the Father.

Positioned For Promotion. Within our promotions there has to be a testing. We cannot determine how long the test will be but we can determine if we keep taking the same test over and over. Joseph took so many different test and the passing of each test caused him to be promoted to the fulfillment of God's word. Those that are promoted become God's provision for those that celebrate with you. Are you celebrating with those that are excelling in the dream that God has given them.

Jesus fed the 4,000 and didn't ask the disciples if they had enough to feed the crowd. He simply asked what do you have. Elisha asked the widow woman what did she have in the house. She replied that she only had a small jar of oil. She was instructed to borrow pots from her friends and neighbors and to fill all of the pots with her oil. Jesus spoke to the disciples and gave them a story of what Heaven is likened to. The three servants that were given talents but only 2 brought increase to what they were entrusted with. When we invest whatever God has given us for His glory, it becomes multiplied. We are given so much more than what we started with. Are you multiplying in your position? If not, then you should be questioning if you are in the right position.

In Part 2 we should see the obviousness within the biblical story of Noah that his obedience became someone else’s blessing. Our obedience must be synonymous and suffer the same persecution that he must have witnessed during his 100 years of building a boat that would place you and I here right now. God is calling each one of us to do something that seems to make no sense to everyone around us but must view this through the lens of God's heart, that my obedience becomes your blessing. The question is will you fully obey what God has called you to do?

Abram gave his nephew Lot the choice to be positioned in what ever fields he wanted while he would settle for what was left. But what was left was where God had positioned him to be. So Abram chose to be positioned by how God had called him. After he had received the promise, God then tested the position of Abrahams heart. The test was to see if he truly feared God! If we would only sit back to how this same test within each of our lives.

It is normal for us as humans to forget or overlook the Promise that God has given us. But within todays message we will see why it is important to Birth the Promise. In Part 3 of this series, we will cover the cost of a rare fragrance while at the feet of Jesus. The oil that Mary used was not found in your every day store. This oil traveled thousands of miles and was very costly. In the same similarities of our praise that comes with such a high price. Anything woth having will cost us something. And just as Judas became irate with the cost of worship that Mary offered, yet Jesus commanded to leave her alone. Mary had a revelation that even the disciples didn't have yet. It boils down to this very fact....that the elephant in the room was simply that no one else was in the room besides Mary at the feet of Jesus.

In closing of this eye opening series, the Holy Spirit brought us the revelation of producing fruit. But not only producing fruit but good fruit! We must make the same comparison of the example that Jesus show all of mankind. In the closing of this series, Pastor James pointed out that in the book of Ezekiel, God will display His Holiness through His people. So if we are proclaiming to be follows of Jesus, then we must let this truth saturate us and cause us to be transformed into the more that God has called us into and the holiness that the world so desperately needs to witness.

Part 7 of this series will drive home the real expectation that God is looking for. A call of repentance. A call to turn back to God's heart. A call to forsaken all that is opposite of who He is. A call to obedience. It should never be about the promises of God if we neglect His presence. It is in the presence of God that we will hear God speak face to face just as He spoke with Moses. God told Moses that no man shall see His face and live.....that means that our flesh man must die! The write of Hebrews caught this revelation and spoke that without Holiness, no man shall see God. Holiness is produced by us submitting to the work of the Holy Spirit! The charge for us today is to live a life that is dedicated for God Spirit to dwell. Why would we be so focused on the destination if we have forsaken His presence that will transform us into His likeness and image through the journey.

As Solomon begun constructing the Temple for God, a process that took 7 years to complete, we could only image how the chaos of construction showed itself from time to time. Within our fellowship with God, the construction that is taking place in our life can be very similar. Chaos in this walk takes place and it may not look like what it suppose to but we have to remember that the process is for our good. If we remain vigilant, and walk in obedience then we will procude what God has called us to. We must endure and persevere to the end and not lose heart. If giving up is an option then we must question that if we were in this for ourselves of for His glory. The Grace of God! Wow, is all I can say after hearing the Holy Spirit show us the other side of the coin that carries equal value. A value that this gift is not only forgiveness but God's empowerment to carry out the fullness of the extraordinary He has called each one to operate in. We can not and will not fulfill within our own abilties. Failure and disappointment are common symptoms that accompany us when we try within our strengths. King Solomon being young in his ruling of Israel knew that this was a heavy weight to carry but he humbly asked God for a hearing heart to be able to discern right and wrong while he "Built a Temple" for Gods presence to dwell. As we begin a new series about "The Process", we look at the beginning of what our Process must look like. And the first thing we are challenged with is dying. Dying simply means to cease to exist. Dying is letting go of all we our old person and following the full example that Jesus layed out for us to live. Dying is in most cases a place of solitude and but be experienced to accomplished. How many times have we gave up because it was to hard or it just didn't seem to be rewarding enough. We have all walked away from God's plan because of these very reasons and Simon Peter didn't find himself in much differnt of of a predicament. And Jesus simply told Peter that He could pick up wherehe left off after he repented and turned back to God. Peter didn't have to start over. He just pick back up where he left off. A Counterfiet Jesus has been preached for way too long! The consensus of the Gospel of Jesus that Paul preached was Death, Resurrection, and Lordship of Jesus Christ.
