This first episode of the mini-series "Holy and Homeless" sets the stage by providing information on homelessness generally, as well as statistics, intersections with other social issues, and potential solutions.
This episode includes interviews with local Rabbi Peter Schaktman and Imam Tom Facchine, as well information on Judaism, Islam, and their relationships to service, community, and homelessness.
This episode includes interviews with Utica's Emmaus House and Johnson Park Center shelters, as well as basic information on their religious associations.
