We can all get a little uptight, nerdy and go too extreme when it comes to the education of our babies. We want the best for them so they can in turn become their very best. We believe our children were a gift to this earth and that they can do whatever they put their minds to. They can be anything and anyone they choose to be. If I can be totally honest with you, I am more the second option. I have asked God so many times why me Lord because my homeschooling days have been wild, painful and a complete hot mess. Im so thankful that He has never left me in the lowest parts of my life. God has share knowledge and given me some understanding about His plan for homeschooling families as well as how i can help create a better experience for my own homeschool. Know Your Limitations- What ever you are setting out to do, ask yourself, can you accomplish this task now in this current season, (or was it something you used to be able to do/ something you desire to do that has to be placed in the future tense?)

Believe- Without believing you will carry a negative mindset that may eventually turn from I may need help in this, I don't think I can, to I'm just not going to try. (Jesus said "If you believe in God, believe also in me." We have to believe God is using us in our homeschool!)

Former homeschooled child, Holly Vander, content creator of Walks with Holly never imagined she would homeschool her own children even though she grew up being homeschooled as a child. She always knew she would be a stay at home mom or at least have her job work around her duties and responsibilities as a Mother and Wife. As her children came closer to the age of being schooled she was excited about the endless possibilities of having her children go to school, be involved with school activities, make new friends, volunteer as a parent, so on. When the time came she quickly relized that discussion she avoided with her family is one that she must have immediately in order to continue moving foraward with her plans. Frances Bowen was a public school teacher who was rolling the normal everyday life of a parent teacher. During the pandemic she had to school at home with her children plus still teach online. She saw first hand the homeschooling wasn’t as bad or hard as she once m believed. After giving this new idea some serious thought she decided to just try it out! 3 years later they are still homeschooling and beginning to fall in love with this new identity.

Lust is tricky so let's talk about it. Over the years I have dealt with anxiety, depression, and fear. I felt like things wasn't going right sometimes I felt like God wasn't hearing me or wasn't listening and I also felt that my circumstances would overtake me and there was nothing I could do about it. Let's face it If God can't help me then there's no way I can overcome or defeat this challenge I'm facing. Fear can lead into lust. Lust is just a feeling a craving and a desire that you shouldn't have a desire outside of the will of God. God wants you to save yourself for marriage and to have children inside of marriage but because it's taken too long maybe I can still find a good person not necessarily get married and have a child and everything will work out anyways. Fear can lead into lust because you're scared and waiting for God but you still have this deep desire. Godly desires are not wrong but unchecked it can turn into lust. I challenge us today let's wait on the Lord and less fully trust him even though things are still going on around us less believe that his time and is perfect and he loves us and he does hear us and will provide in his timing. I know fear all too well and I'm here to put an end to it. I didn't realize how much I was moving in fear until after I got saved. But this is a weird time to be scared because God has already covered me and removed all of my sins when I accepted him. I have to salvation we should no longer move in fear but in power from his spirit. Anxiety, fear and any other spirit that makes you doubt God has to go. One reason can be because we want to do greater, because we want to become greater, because we want to leave a greater legacy behind. One reason can be because the things that we're facing we can't do it on our own so we need something greater to hold us and to keep us up. Another reason can be because as others are watching us and we want to impact them, we know that we're going to need some extra force to get the work that need to be done completed. It's so many great reasons as to why we should have something greater. But the biggest lesson today is that you should be connected to the greatest source in the universe. Hey beautifuls and this episode today we are discussing God removing some things, and making you feel isolated, and then making sense out of it all. I know for me a lot of times I have no idea what God is doing or how he will work it out. It seems like all of these pieces are disconnected until he gives us a glimpse of the whole picture. Through the process I have gained wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. How do you respond when things don't quite go your way? How do you conduct yourself when someone holds a different opinion than yours? I am constantly finding a balance between believing with all of my heart, mind, and soul God's word versus allowing room for a word of correction, more growth in the process, and a fine tuning.
I trust God completely. I am also learning how to trust His guidance with the leaders He put over me. I believe there is a balance and that's something I'm hoping to know really well.

I have been wrong about a lot of things and even had some really stupid ideas based upon stereotyping people. Women in particular. I assumed women who cared for themselves were selfish, stuck up, conceited, and non-caring individuals with bad attitudes. This couldn't be further from the truth. Most of the women I've met that were very sweet, kind, generous and loving, were extremely beautiful. They cared for their whole bodies, inwardly and outwardly. Yes they wore makeup, did their hair, nails, and had a skincare routine. What I have learned in own health journey this is not selfish at all but necessary. I needed to change my diet because I was sick. So many wonderful people in my family had major health issues and didn't make it very long after the diagnoses. I'm so grateful I have the knowledge and opportunity to make a difference in my life, my families, and as an influencer!

Some things God Himself is going to have to tell me to do! It seems to be this way especially during the times where God is speaking and we just can't seem to understand the plan. We see the vision but not really seeing how it will come to pass. I know for me That's exactly what I needed to convince myself I was created to be a housewife, homeschool mom, content creator, brand owner, activist, and the many other titles I hold.
Guest Speaker Kendra Price has back and forth conversations with God when she felt like the children needed a change in the environment at school but had no idea as to what that would look like for them or how they would even go about doing it. Kendra enjoyed being a full time Chemistry teacher and she was pretty good at what she did. How could she become anything else at this point in her life? How would she even replace the income that could be jeopardized by having these discussion and forward plans?

Growing up I wanted to become an adult super fast. That was short lived be because I finally realized life was real, I had no idea what being an adult truly was and actually had to back track myself home again.

Jade Aliana, also known as Teacher Jade, chose to enter into the educational field as a public school teacher. She was led to this decision to be the answer to the problem. She soon found out that her very own daughter would go through changes that eventually led her to request becoming a homeschool child.
Jade dabbled in online teaching as a substitute from not being able to work the traditional route. She committed to answering her daughters request and quickly had to come up with a plan to sustain their lifestyle. She went from working part time to fulltime as an online teacher. She has worked for 10+ companies. Growing up I started off loving to read, pretend play, and always exploring around me to learn something new. All this came to a halt after a series of events often associated with bullying. I had a hard time with the school system.
Adults were mean to me and i did get picked on by other students as well. I was a very tiny little girl, with a soft presence, I wouldn't talk very much, and just enjoyed life. My spirit was broken from the rush and rudeness towards me.
I had to quickly learn how to protect myself against abusive words and sometimes even physical pushing. It was so intimidating for someone older than me to yell in my face and push me over with one finger. I was a small little girl in age and size.
It wasn't fun at all to experience these threats. For some reason I found myself in these sorts of situations, more often than I would have liked. The hopelessness came from not having anyone to tell or having anyone to stand up for me. I was alone.

For so long Beauty has been a mystery to me. I thought you were born with it or without it. Unfortunately, I was mistaken that I didn't have any. Through the years there have been seasons where I began to have a glow that no one could explain but everyone could see. Over the years I have also been stripped of my external beauty and left down in the slumps of raggedy and tragedy. I have been graced to see beauty through the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of the one who created it all and is the most Beautiful of ALL creation. Yes! Growing up I struggled with self identity. I constantly felt like the people I needed the most just couldn't be there for me so I internalized the negative feelings I had. I suppressed who I was as a girl because my truth wasn't getting me positive results.
I had to learn the ways of everyone else in order to keep up with life and not get left behind. I truly have been on a journey to self growth, healing, maturity, and discovery. I'm so thankful I have found a place of love, joy, and peace with who I am. I don't have to pretend. I don't feel lost anymore. I don't ask God who am I? What am I called to do?
