Jacob Korthuis is a Dutch researcher, scientist and Holistic Health specialist. He studied medicine but did not find the answers he was looking for. After studying Holistic medicine, he started a practice in the Netherlands from 1978 -2002. Jacob moved to the USA in 2002.
He is the co-founder of VBAG, the largest Holistic Health Practitioner Organization in the Netherlands. In 1997 he founded the PMA Training Institute, then subsequently co-founded the Dutch company EduMind BV in 2011; which is an organization that focuses on implementing the advantages of his scientific research in the Dutch educational school system.
He discovered the “multiple coding systems” and the “genetic protection mechanism” of our brain, and how wrongly coded sensory data in our subconscious brain ultimately leads to unnecessary illness, psychosomatic diseases, and behavioral problems.
Jacob’s most prestigious accomplishment is the development of Progressive Mental Alignment® (PMA); a coaching and self-help method to improve their health and behavior. He is the author of six books and internationally recognized for his research in human behavior and psychosomatic disease.

Francis (Frank) Gómez
Frank Gómez, an expert in strategic communications and media relations, has a rare combination of executive leadership in diplomacy, the private sector and nonprofits. With six service awards, he capped his Foreign Service career as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs and the rank of Minister Counselor. At the Department of State he directed the Office of Opinion Research, the Office of the Historian, Publications and Programs, and created and oversaw the Office of Liaison with Cities. Frank Boughner’s journey began with a 5,000 worker layoff from Verizon Communications in 2002. Prior to that layoff, he had made good use of his Bachelors in Business Administration from Iona College working for Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of New York, Madison Square Garden, Yellow Book USA and Verizon Communications. That layoff and a compensation package including free education which sent him into his network looking for a new career path. This landed him at Iona College with one of his Christian Brother mentors, Paul Beaudin. Here he embarked on an educational path which included teaching positions at Cardinal Hayes High School, Immaculate Conception on 151st Street in the Bronx, Grand Concourse Academy, Mother Cabrini High School and now St. Stephen’s of Hungary in Manhattan.
He attributes his success and stations of employment to the tools he picked up networking among his many mentors and brotherhood at Cardinal Hayes. Dr. Joseph Rosado was born in New York City and raised in the Bronx.
After spending several years in central Florida working as an EMT/P, Dr. Rosado realized his passion for the medical profession. He started chiropractic school at Life College in Marietta, GA where he graduated with a BS degree in Clinical Nutrition and a doctor of chiropractic degree.
After practicing for several years, he went on to Universidad Central del Este, in San Pedro de Macoris where in 2001 he graduated with his medical degree. After working as physician and clinic Director in Salt Lake City, UT, team physician for the Costa Rican Institute of Recreation and Sports, and staff physician at Hospital Metropolitano in San Juan, PR; Dr. Rosado relocated back to Florida. Many people out there are in pain. Their financial situations are dire. They have lost their jobs, their life savings and in many cases, their self-respect while chasing around looking for a new position.
It's that "chasing around" part that started to bother me many years ago, long before today’s economic turmoil started creeping toward critical mass. It became obvious to me that far too many people were conducting their job searches in an illogical and self-defeating way. They were lured into the easy, deceptive world of Internet job boards where hunting for a job simply meant finding an interesting opening, uploading a resume and cover letter, clicking a few buttons, then waiting for a response.
But the folly of this approach is that the job board, at best, is nothing more than a piece of software. It cannot engage in meaningful two-way communication with humans. Without a human-to-human “networking” component in the equation, how can anyone expect to get meaningful results?
This is the connectionless void in which so many people have spent thousands of hours toiling their lives away in the false hope that a database somewhere in cyberspace would electronically ride to their rescue, find them a job, reinstate the flow of money into their households, and make things right with the world again.
How much more wrong could they have possibly been?

You don’t have to be Sigmund Freud to know that people with low self-esteem frequently demean themselves in their interactions with others. Unfortunately, this is something that frequently requires professional counseling.
I don’t perform psychoanalysis; I prefer that people who have self-esteem issues find solutions by working with their own community of behavioral health care professionals, particularly since there is no longer any stigma attached to seeking psychiatric treatment. This is important because running your career as a business (the CEO of Me, Inc.) relies heavily on your ability to project confident, positive and assertive behaviors. The quicker the treatment for poor self-esteem, the sooner the positive results will become reflected in your career management program.
As a career strategist, executive recruiter and hiring manager for 25+ years, these positions gave me an unobstructed, 20/20 view of both sides of the interviewer’s desk. I learned a great deal about the mistakes made by candidates applying for jobs as well as the techniques and strategies used by hiring managers to screen those very same candidates.

An Informational Interview is a meeting in which a potential job seeker seeks advice on their career, the industry, and the corporate culture of a potential future workplace; while an employed professional learns about the job seeker and judges their professional potential and fit to the corporate culture, so building their candidate pool for future hires.
In an informational interview, job seekers can be unemployed, or else employed and considering new options. They use the interview to gather information on the field and on specific companies that they might want to work at. They can find employment leads, and expand their professional network. The employed professional from whom the potential candidate seeks advice and information also learns about a new potential colleague or hire and builds their own network through the conversation.
This differs from a job interview because the conversation is not about hiring and not about a specific job. The potential candidate asks general questions about the nature of the company or the industry, and the "insider" learns his or her professional character at the same time. The information interview helps overcome a problem with most discussions in a recruiting/job-seeking process, where each side is hesitant to talk to the other because they are uncertain about whether they might be wasting their time with an unqualified candidate or unsuitable workplace. In contrast, "the informational interview provides an non-threatening forum" for discussion as the two sides learn about the other.

Today’s professional is faced with a potentially unnerving reality: That 20th century job search techniques are no longer adequate for landing a job. • Be prepared to take an interview call at any time. Position your resume and "T" Cover Letter where you can refer to them easily. The T–Letter
One style in particular that we in the ETP Network find exceptionally beneficial is the T–Letter.
The express purpose of a T–Letter is to demonstrate — with strong visual impact — exactly why you are uniquely qualified for the position you seek. If you’ve done your homework well and selected a position for which you are a dead–on match, a T–Letter gives you the chance to lay out your case for the job “point by point” using a chart in the middle of the letter. The chart compares each core requirement for the job on the left with a corresponding “qualification bullet” on the right demonstrating how you have proven experience for that requirement.
