TALK TALK TALK is a series of presentations and discussions around photography in African contexts with the aim of networking the different initiatives and photographers on the continent and beyond. The format was first introduced by APS members FOTEA and CAP Association at the 2019 Bamako Encounters in Mali.

Your host, Faridah Folawiyo, is an art historian and curator with a strong interest in photography. Working between London and Lagos, her attention belongs to the various forms photography is applied in and can be read as, to better understand the creation and upkeep of memory. Faridah's guests for this episode are Egyptian artist Amina Kadous and Nigerian photographer, Logo "Logor" Oluwamuyiwa. In her work, Amina explores the concepts of memory and identity. Logor is an advocate for positive and rich storytelling via the digital media as a tool for reorientation.

Your host, Ala Kheir is a Khartoum-based photographer and photography trainer. He is a co-founder of “The Other Vision”, a platform for photography education in Sudan. Ala's guests for this episode are award winning Algerien photographer Abdo Shanan and Kenyan journalist Wacera Njagi. Abdo is a co-founder of Collective220, a collective for Algerian photographers. Wacera is an editor at Everyday Africa, a collective of photographers working to broaden the perception of Africa beyond the headlines.

Amy's guests for this episode are award winning Moroccan photographer and visual storyteller M'hammed Kilito and Ugandan artist and social activist DeLovie. M'hammed's work explores narratives between his collaborators and their environments. DeLovie's work circles sexuality, beauty and gender identity.
