Self righteousness,religion and tradition is slowly taking the position and move of God in the lives of many Christians. Strive to understand God and His ways, He cannot be boxed. When you listen and follow Him closely, you'll thrive better.
This segment talks about God's selection process. He selects you and then builds your qualification status through various processes. Don't be quick to condemn like the Pharisees.
Jesus came to earth as the son of God to offer salvation, healing, deliverance and to prepare us for His return. He came to experience what we do so He could also relate with us and understand our weaknesses/strength. He is the perfect example on how to live our lives on earth. Listen to His successes and trials and how He navigated through these. If you have a red letter bible, you'll see a lot of messages from Him so if you're confused about certain things said by other preachers/writers in the bible, Hear it direct from the master in the book of Luke. SPIRITUAL LAWYERS The Jews were ardent believers in the law of Moses, they also were very religious and loved to live according to the laws. On the contrary, Jesus came to fulfill the law not to abolish it but they didn’t understand this. He actually went to the temple on the Sabbath day to worship as most of them but had compassion on an impotent man and ministered healing to him.
On seeing this miracle can you imagine the problem the Jews had: That He healed the man on a Sabbath day. What a flimsy reason, it seems they forgot that He actually came to the temple to observe the Sabbath but saw a need to heal that man. The heart of man is desperately wicked. How can one prefer someone to wallow in pain just because of the law? In this dispensation we have the Holy Spirit.
He is the one that leads us and tells us what to do per time. The Good Samaritan was probably led as the Priest and Levite were rushing to observe the Sabbath. Don’t neglect helping others and reaching out especially when led by the Holy Spirit. Do not always operate by laws when you’re sure you’ve heard from the Holy Spirit. Many say the Lord’s Prayer but how often do we meditate on what we say. One of the greatest desires of God is that His kingdom be established on earth as it is in heaven. That is why in Matthew 6:33 we are told “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” God wants you in His kingdom where there is no pain and sorrow. He wants your friends and loved ones there too. Imagine walking on streets made of gold, imagine having a place in a great mansion. No pain, only joy and laughter. As you prepare for an international relocation, there are mandatory requirements ( i.e account statement,criminal history etc) that must be met. That is the same way we must prepare for our Kingdom destination. I trust God will help us remember and be prepared for his second coming. People generally don't like challenges/trials. Some like temptations as an avenue to indulge in their lust and have justification. If you look at trials in the light of James 1:2-5.
In our present world where we are at liberty to question almost anything, some have also decided to question even argue about God's existence and authority over humanity or their personality. God is a loving father, master,creator etc. He is not against a relationship where we can discuss and ask questions about His plans for us. Where He has a problem is when we complain and argue about His authority and decisions over our lives. Remain blessed.🤗🤗
There are many misconceptions about valentine's day. Sadly, instead of a day filled with love, for many it has been a day of regret, depression, anger, frustration and many more. Many have made costly mistakes and are still making, this topic will highlight these misconceptions and save many from falling into the same pit.

No proud person will ever tell you they are proud. Some people even make statements like my humble self but pride is a very subtle sin which sometimes people may not perceive from the outside only the spirit of God can reveal it. Job was righteous In His own eyes. He felt his righteousness was by his power and religious works spirit and didn't acknowledge the grace of God. From the passage in Isaiah 22, it was discovered that the people put themselves in a situation that could be avoidable. Even in their trouble they still didn't seek God but applied their human wisdom. How many times have you been In this situation? We try to arrange a quick fix which takes us deeper into the valley. Till we get frustrated before we realise our ways aren't working.
Interestingly, this location(i.e Valley of vision) also stirred a message of hope for me. It means it is possible to have a vision even in the valley. When you are down and in your lowest, you still can have a vision which will give you hope and a motivation to leave that valley. Most times, visions are written for the future. However, to have a vision for something, you are usually not at that position you envision but at lower point most times.

Just expressing my thoughts out loud. Jesus is coming soon, how prepared are we? Man shall not live by bread alone but every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. We need the word everyday and it is a treasure for our souls,it is a pearl that is of great value. Jesus is the word and we can do nothing without Him.
