Heart of the Swarm will release with d3 goodies, bug fixes release for bl2 and the horizon is bright for BL2 and PSO2. Keteh talks about his experience with Torchlight 2. PART 2 OF 2. After many weeks of begging, bribery, and eyelash-batting, Dave (while holding hands with guest host Keteh) finally caves-in & gives Liz the “Auction House Tips” she’s dreamed about. Also, the team talks more about Nephalem Valor. This week’s Hardcore Challenge “The Double Deuce”.
What does it MEAN? This week, Dave and guest host Kashpy discuss the “good old days” of Diablo II and explain what we can expect from Patch 1.0.5. Liz debunks some rumors about Jupiter proving that Dien can make her doubt herself. Naphalem Valor is discussed as well as possible future changes then we are issued the next Hardcore Challenge: The Classist.
Zombies & Hunters & Monks, OH MY! Dien finally leveled-up his non-Barbarian classes, then proceeds to cry as Liz defends the noble Monk in all its glory. CC, DH, & PvP make for too many acronyms for one host’s brain to handle. Last week’s Hardcore Challenge lead to much table-flipping & this week’s challenge – “The Assassin” – promises to do the same (thus, flipping tables back to their original position).
“Special” guest Will “Sovrun” A. joins the Diablo Off the Record crew this week for some good old Diablo geek-out goodness. Listen & marvel at the amazing things Dien can flip on the RMAH, how Liz can unnecessarily describe any Diablo 3 situation via 1980s pop culture references, & Will gives us the scoop on some smoking HOT builds. “The Narcissist” Hardcore Challenge is issued, much to the dismay OR joy of fans who survived the previous two.
Paragon Valor is in the hiz-ouse! Dave has been busy reaping the benefits of the highly anticipated Patch 1.0.4 while Liz glares in jealousy at his new legendary item. Details of the recent patch are brought to light & our hosts issue the 2nd in a series of themed Hardcore Challenges: The Podcaster.
Dien and Liz take on inferno, some just do it a little better than others. Continuing on this week, the Legendary preview as well as class previews were released. The elder scrolls OTR tribute Hardcore Challenge has been overcome by its arch nemesis: The Twilight Off The Record Challenge!
Dien and Liz take over as Keth is out for the week. Liz FINALLY hits 60. This week Diablo off the record covers character profiles, patch 1.0.4 systems preview, and a confirmed breach of data at blizzard. The hardcore challenge kills off our hosts and a new HCC arises, The Elder Scroll!
The hosts enjoy playing classes out of their normal, Keth and Dien fall in love with their Witch Doctors. Blizzard axes the Dial-In Authenticator and confirms new colors for items and upcoming auction house changes. “The Empty Bottle Challenge” was issued in the hard corner and Keth discusses the lore of Anu and Tathamet.
Even after all the hosts have rough weeks, they still find time to D3 a bit, Liz learns that Diablo 3 doesn’t work like Super Smash Brothers and Dave unleashes his power of math to try and test out a barbarian crit build. WoW invades the D3 news this week and the first D3 class hardcore challenge has been issued, “The Necromancer.”
Dein and Liz discuss their week on their normal characters and The hosts then discuss A Message by Mike Morhaime. Blizzard is expecting to reinstate game creation caps, what will our hosts have to say about it? The Healthy Challenge proves that even vitality can claim lives and the butcher is back with a new challenge.
Each host has a very different week and announces a winner for the D2 giveaway contest. The hosts then discuss the new real money commodities and gold sales.
