This premiere is probably planting a lot of seeds to be sewn in future episodes. The acting is top-notch, and the setting still feels very much like Star Wars.

Just going by these screencaps, it looks like this season will focus on Din/Mando'struggle with what he believes and what he hears from Bo-Katan and her Mandalorian buddies.
The previous trailer showed hints of Cassius Andor's childhood and young adult life. This one focuses on the difficulties working in The Rebellion not just for Andor, but for Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgard) and Mon Mothma (Genevieve O'Reilly) as well.
