Hi All, today was my very first Gladius Case opening and I want to share. I am new to the guilds so don't know the cards all that well but lets see what I got.

  • Card 1 Whistling Damon (Common) Snipe, 2 Ranged, and 3 Health. Somewhere in the middle positions would be a good place for this card.
  • Card 2 Witch of Warwick (Common) Life Leach, 2 Magic and 2 Health. Also somewhere in the middle positions would be a good place for this card.
  • Card 3 Relenor Cleaver (Rare) Reach, 4 Attack, 7 Armor and 6 Health. I can see this becoming a good second spot card.
  • Card 4 Captain Katie (Rare) Snipe, 3 Magic and 6 Health. I think I would be comfortable for this card in about any Life battle.
  • Card 5 Palidon Rakk (Rare) A nice card with 3 Attack, and 12 Health. Might be a good card to absorb some hits.

Overall great opeing with three rares, I can't wait to see how these fit with my other cards.

Spineback Turtle Battle Challenge The Spineback Turtle for me is a good low mana tank, put him up front to absorb damage while the rest of the team gets some hits in, and for this battle that worked out fairly well.

The Lineup Summoner - Kelya Frendul, well to be frank I picked this one because it is my only level 2 water summoner.

Front Row - Spineback Turtle, put here because I feel like he is a decent tank, especially at the lower mana levels.

Second - Djinn Oshannus, great secondary tank with lots of health, good to use in case your opponent uses magic with the Void ability.

Third, Forth and Fifth - I mainly just wanted some magic users in here to support Oshannus. Though I did want to get the Venari Wavesmith in here as well for the protect ability. +2 Armor to my team, yes please!

Sixth - And to round it off and give my opponent something to hit in the back, the Furious Chicken.

Did it work? Well I ended up winning the battle and my only casualty, the Spineback Turtle, oops! I think a strong magic team with a good tank leading is a good team to have. And at 4 mana the Turtle really fit in well in a 29 mana match.

Bottom line I will be using this card more often, I rented it for this challenge, but do intend to buy him soon.
