Contending for the True Gospel.... The Open Bible Podcast is for Christians seeking answers to understand the scriptures in their context and mystries. There are passages that can be obscure to modern readers due to historical or cultural references. Peter said that Scripture contains “some things that are hard to understand”, 2 Peter 3:16. The lack of understanding & knowledge can be deadly. Psalm 19:7: declares that the “testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple”. But the simple cannot be made wise by something they are unable to understand. Surely, the Word of God does demand the need for interpretation, explanation, and exposition of the scripture by diligent Bible Teachers. To comprehend God and His dealings with mankind in the past, and His plans for the future, is the main goal of these podcasts.
