Welcome welcome! Initially starting as a food account, @garynturbach has become a lifestyle, food, fashion, and pop culture account with a strong sense of community in the follower base. The garyn turbach podcast was made to create an even stronger community. We discuss the future of Gen Z (ish) going into Fall 2020 and beyond, while also discussing pop culture moments, lifestyle tips, and ways to get through these uncertain times. Take a deep breath and (hopefully) have a laugh-- the garyn turbach podcast is for everyone. Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/garynturbach/support

garyn sits down with Margo Collins of Colloquial, a new sustainable fashion brand made in LA (check out the boss suit, seriously). We discuss how the brand came to be, taking a year off of school, and majoring in physics (not me lol). We discuss really important things such as American Dad! and After, the movie. We discuss awkward fashion phases, which Margo had none of but garyn obviously did. Like, give a comment, and follow @shop.colloquial on insta! xo

this is a project for my tourism and sustainability class (cool, right?!), where I will be breaking down food tourism and its impacts on the people, the culture, and the environment. If you know me you know how much I love Chef's Table (I've watched Christina Tosi's episode AT LEAST 6 times) and food in general, so I thought what better way to discuss tourism than by my favorite activity, eating! Hopefully, you learn about food tourism and leave inspired to explore a country through its food. That's what we can do right now! Let's all eat some pasta and pretend we're in Italy for a summery day. Enjoy!

garyn sits down with a fellow WashU podcaster (woo!) Stella to discuss being a college senior, transforming an old health food account into a wellness platform. We discuss why we started podcasts, how life in STL is going, and things we are doing for self-care. Also, we figure out that we had talked about WOOF'ing in the summer and neither of us remembered, which was cool I guess. I talk about Mafia's again here? What's up with that? Listen to Everyday Endorphins wherever you listen to podcasts!

Avery talks about not one but two businesses she runs (hello pop-up events!), and being an independent woman while also listening to smooth jazz and being an overall cool person. She is doing big things connecting small businesses in St. Louis to create a greater community. We love her!

This week, garyn sits down with the Stanford indoor and beach volleyball player STUD, Natalie Berty. garyn had the honor of playing with Nat in middle school and can successfully say she's played with a Stanford player, one of her biggest flexes. We discuss going from winning an NCAA championship to quarantining at home (and working on typing skills?). Natalie talks about loving the game and staying motivated for her spring season. Also, she somehow was able to watch Handmaid's Tale during the quarantine. Impressive.
