Agency. What is that!? It's the goal, the direction we are headed. It will take this entire course to tease this all out, and yet, we still need a basic working definition at this early stage.
Bodies, hearts, and minds. If we are going to exhibit something like the freedom to inhabit we are going to have to hang out as all three.

We've got problems. Specifically, a profound lack of vitality in our lives.
If we are going to come to understand shamanism and the way of the body, then we are going to have to acknowledge what we are missing. Intimacy and connection. Wild wonder. The safety of shared bodies. The ability to inhabit indigenous time is all but forgotten.

We lack vitality in our lives. We need an experience of playfulness, wonder, and curiosity. We don't experience this, and we have to find out why.
