UK Red Sox Fans
We are back after taking a weekend off to enjoy the MLB London Series (or a weekend away for Barry)!
As expected we recap the amazing weekend that was the London Series for all UK baseball fans and we find out if Drew managed to eat "the boomstick"! We hear some insights to the weekend from Addy as a volunteer and Drew as a visiting fan to the series.
Of course we discuss the Red Sox games that have passed since our last proper episode and look at the results against the Braves, White Sox, Phillies and the Yankees.
Our controversial discussion point this week is focussed on the players and umpire that received bans for gambling in the last few weeks and we finish off thinking about which current Red Sox player or staff member each of us would like to take out for dinner and why.
This episode was recorded on Sunday 16th of June before our series clincher against the Yankees.

No traditional episode this weekend as Addy and Drew attend the MLB London Series and Barry gets a much needed weekend break with the family.
We do have a special episode in which we discuss the upcoming and previous London Series. The "rumoured to be" cancelled Paris Series are also discussed by our team before having a look at the two teams visiting London this weekend.
Drew keeps us up to date on what food is on offer while Addy gives us some hints and tips around the London Stadium and the events at Trafalgar Square where our very own Drew will be hosting a Red Sox fan meet.

Next weekend (7th-9th of June) are the London Games so there will not be a "regular" episode, but on Wednesday night there will be a bonus episode in which we discuss this upcoming weekend of baseball in London.
In this week’s episode of Beantown Brits, Addy, Drew and Barry discuss the series agains the Rays at Tropicana.
We discuss the Rookie Of the Year race and the current two Red Sox players that are in contention, Abreu and Rafaela.
As it was quite popular last time we did this, we look at two discussion points that feature on the American Facebook groups:

⚾ If you became commissioner of baseball, what would you implement to improve the game?
And lastly we try and predict the outcome of the series against the Brewers at Fenway, which at point of release of this episode has already been completed as the episode was recorded on Friday 24th of May.
In this episode of Beantown Brits, Drew, Addy and Barry discuss the last week in Red Sox Baseball, where we went 2 and 5 against the Rays and the Cardinals. And Devers equaling a Red Sox record of 5 home runs in 5 games.
We have a look at the chance of Bryan Mata getting a call up now he is returning from injury and we have a discussion on some quirks in the schedule where we won't see the Yankees until mid June.
Last but not least we cast our eyes to the upcoming MLB London Games and a UK Red Sox Fans meetup at those games.

As we welcome Addy back from her duties as Eurovision party hostess, we look back at the games against the Braves and Nationals.
We discuss some rather frustrating stats regarding our beloved Red Sox and welcome back Whitlock and Bello from the IL.
A look forward to the upcoming series against the Rays and Blue Jays, and we have a discussion about the increase in catcher interference calls and the wider consequences this might have.
