These among other stereotypical statements are the things men have to hear and live with all their lives. However, have these things contributed to the lifestyle they exhibit or they are simply the architect of their own downfall.
Toxic femininity is a subject that has been pushed under the rug for so long. Although women are not raping, killing and violating men in the same way that men rape, kill, and violate women; society needs to understand that there is also toxic femininity, which is as a result of a deeply patriarchal social system and its dictates. Toxic femininity is as real and as dangerous as masculine toxicity, and it is time to talk about it!
Toxic masculinity involves cultural pressures for men to behave in a certain way. And it is likely this affects all boys and men in some fashion. Why must a man be forced to live in a certain kind of way? Oftentimes leading to excessively being a man or other times underperforming as a man.
Why do we often misinterpret and wrongly apply what is the world's most beautiful virtue? We often want to replace the enduring and intense feeling of love with frivolity.
