As the "black sheep" of my family I've taken the steps to live a life a bit different. I live as a photographer in Mexico currently and enjoy talking to others, sharing ideas about how they found happiness.. or how their pursuit is going. One of the things we forget to do as creatives is self-care. It sounds so easy in theory but we often forget to hold space to reset and recharge so we can be a better version of ourselves.. or rather just not be an asshole. So in this episode I talk about ways to do that, stop being so negative, and care for our passions so we're just... nicer people.

One of the things that we never really think about when it comes to being The Black Sheep of the family is the fact that being different comes with a lot of self-doubt. This also comes with mental illness, coping mechanisms (some unhealthy), and the desire to "fit in" sometimes and disassociating because we just can't. I talk about my own struggles with mental illness due and how I've been working on overcoming the struggles in being different.
