Ira Chernova is a Photographer, Model, and Artist.
Ira is an artist who I knew their work previously through their modeling career, but learned about photography and drawing shortly after.
Ira channels various visions and ideas into primitive style drawings, where Ira began painting on nesting dolls, looking for ways to bring their upbringing and art style together in one art-form.
I met Ira with a friend of the show, photographer, Mark Portillo outside of Procell in Nolita chatting about photography and nightlife. Ira has photographed a few of my favorite artists such as Gianni Lee and been photographed by one of my favorites photographers, Jessica Lehrman.
There’s a video of her with a snake online. She's not afraid of anything.

Troy Kreiner is a Creative Director and an independent curator based in Los Angeles.
I first met Troy in Philly when we were boys not at University of the Arts. Ok UArts but at parties. I still think about those parties to this day.
We all grew up of course, moved on, went our separate ways but the internet brought us together. Shamelessly through Shameless Enterprise, a collaborative project between him and Brian Broker I would go to pop ups they were at and see their products being sold at the New Museum Gift Shop. I have the ‘Nas’ NASA patch somewhere in the studio.

Jordan has been Grammy nominated for his work on the Caspian record ‘On Circles’ for Best Recording Package, he’s worked with my favorite bands growing up such as Thrice, Minus The Bear, Converge, and Sunny Day Real Estate.

Paulie Gee is the founder of Paulie Gee’s, a pizza shop that originated in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Paulie is the sweetest dude I’ve ever met when it comes to pizza. One of the last times I ate at the restaurant I remember Paulie coming up to our table and asking us how the Pizzas were. One of my favorite NYC experiences.
Since then Paulie Gee’s has expanded into different cities. We got Columbus, Baltimore, Chicago, and the beautiful city of Philadelphia.
Over the years Paulie Gee’s restaurant has significantly contributed to the ever-growing food culture of the neighborhood of Greenpoint. Paulie has never spent money on marketing or advertising which is wild to me because that’s what we do so much at Wear Many Hats.
Paulie loves hats so much even when I try to look up a photo of him on the internet he’s always in a hat. Paulie even has a Paulie Gees hat IG for his collection.

Mikey Taylor, you may know him as a pro skater who is retired but I know Mikey in his new era as an entrepreneur mostly known for co-founding Saint Archer Brewery, COMMUNE Capital, and is a Thousand Oaks Council Member.
I used to watch clips of him back in the day at Nocturnal Skateshop in Philly but now I’m watching clips of him spreading the good word of financial education in my home in NYC. Always stacking clips.
Me and Mikey aren’t that different when it comes to teaching something we’re interested in such as being financially responsible, getting your money up, and all around growth.
Honestly, sometimes I wonder if I’m boring when I try to spread the good word or maybe I’m just into people who didn’t go to business school to talk about their experiences with money. Maybe it’s the Capricorn in me.

Sid Simons is a musician.
I first heard of Sid when he was in his band Girlskin where my friend Ruby played violin in so of course I would support and go check it out for myself.
Girlskin was such a New York band that I loved listening to. Reminded me of all those Patti Smith books I used to read before moving to NYC but without shooting up of course. This isn’t another Sid and Nancy story so piss off! Berlin is still my favorite venue in the East Village that I would find all my favorite local bands and of course anything Jessie Malin touches that supports the underground New York scene.
As time goes on things changed but Sid always remained a musician. Now going solo I had to see for myself. Sid Simons crushing it with opening up for Franz Ferdinand, looks good in a blazer, this is all reminding me of the MTV days.
Let’s dive in and chat rock star hairstyles, Elliot Smith, NYC scenes, and going solo.

Andrew Yung is a diva that I enjoy talking with out and about on the streets of NYC. Andrew has stories that are filled with laughter, good food and memories.
When I met Andrew he was showing me what he was working on which was keychains for his brand, Pintrill. Where he also does the marketing and e-commerce for. Finding out that Andrew is the co-founder of Pintrill, I wish I met him during my days of going to streetwear trade shows such as Agenda.
I met Andrew at one of my favorite parks in Bedstuy, Brooklyn — Herbert Von King Park where we bonded on food, reality TV, and the Asian Diaspora all which happened on the 4th of July with a bunch of other like minded asians who enjoyed grilling and shitting on America. Although Andrew is from Toronto, Canadians are very nice. I wonder if Andrew is going to see Drake on tour.
Backgrounds aside, I thought Andrew should definitely come on the show. Talk about pins and sins.
Please welcome Andrew Yung to Wear Many Hats.
Noel Mercado is an artist.
Noel repurposes found objects giving it new life, more life. In order to have and to hold for many more generations to come.
I first met Noel back in Philly with friend Zak Parsons from Four Finger Press and Kyle of Smalldosesdaily and vibed on streetwear, photography, and music.
Then we caught up in Brooklyn. Always a good time when we ran into each other at a club and was talking about Contax pics.
Fastforward years later, I spent the day in two of my not so secret favorite neighborhoods, the West Village and SoHo pretending that I’m someone I’m not but I ain’t shit and I turned to my left and I see my favorite furniture company, USM Modular Furniture collaborated with a name I definitely know. I had to tell someone immediately and friend Ryan Gendron was right behind me and I broke the news. Went inside, made a TikTok and bought Noel’s whole collection straight cash.
Now my house is looking like a mansion, I told you I got it like that.
No I don’t got it like that but I do love that me and Noel also bond on USM and Contax Cameras. If you got that, the rest will follow.

Alex Hao is a photographer.
Alex also works as the social media marketing lead for Notion.
I met Alex through a Melissa Seah studio session that was connected via Twitter. I didn’t know what to expect. I met a handful of creatives that work in the tech space at an incubator hub in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan. We went around the room sharing our ideas like an AA meeting talking about how obsessed we are with our side projects. Typical rehab behavior. We were all impressed with each other's ideas, words of affirmations and feedback that we decided to connect afterwards.
I shared the Wear Many Hats show and luckily I was able to have one of my favorites who shared to come on the show. I was impressed by Alex’s photography. Even though I shoot film, Alex brought digital back. Digital never left.

Matt King is a designer and art director based in Brooklyn, NY.
Matt has been the design lead at Squarespace since 2019 but he has worked on various projects such as design art books for homies, posters for Neighborhood Watch and has worked at many branding agencies before.
But the past is the past and here we are in the present. Where me and Matt met via IG through various multiple friends. Same circles. NYC is small if you think about it and I just feel like I’m intervening in this particular part in time through our art practice. Matt is now a friend of the show and shares with me a bunch of homies that should come on the show. None of them bit.
Me and Matt met up at Allied Tattoo so I could photograph Matt in front of Commercial Type’s new billboard produced by Dahsar in Bushwick. Then we got brunch at Win Son, shoot the shit and learned more about each other.

Brandon Dent is a vintage seller, independent clothing designer and barista from Georgia.
I met Brandon at Colbo working their coffee program but I knew there was something more. Brandon had a vintage pop up in the gallery space of Colbo for his vintage company, Big Iron vintage along with his friend Adam from Condemned Clothing. Brandon was also selling cut & sew pieces that he bespoke at home called Grant.
I tried on a few pieces and they were a perfect fit. I’m not one for color since it’s outside of my comfort zone but in another life it would have been mine.
Brandon makes a great coffee, we always have a good conversation, and he doesn’t live too far from me in Brooklyn.

Drew Stevens is the founder of Margin, a skincare brand that caught my attention from all my favorite cultural people that work in the ever so loving world of design and fashion.
Drew with designer Sam Jayne has led Margin to create beautiful packaging that catches my eye from start to finish. Starting with the box that holds the product, they feature it as a canvas, so far showcases beautiful artworks by Pat O’Rourke and Ed Davis. Margin will continue to update artist-editioned sleeves periodically, never to be repeated.
I met Drew at friends and guests of the show, Dewy Dudes and their party at Lovely Day where gift bags included a Dewy Dudes Margin collab t-shirt and the Essential Cleanser which I’ve been using every morning and night.

Matt Faust is the designer and owner of The Decades Hat Co.
Speaking of The Decades, me and Matt have known each other for a Decade. The Decades was so influential to me when I lived in Philly and it also fueled the fire to start my own brand, Dahsar. 5-Panel hats were so huge back then because of the hipster era but it was one of the best times we’ve ever had.
5-Panel hats were so cool. Having your clothes on micro celebs to mega celebs were our stint of a touch of influencer culture. Collabs with Ebbets Field and Starter were iconic. Going to streetwear tradeshows such as Agenda were a big deal to mostly party and cause a scene.
Riding fixed gear bikes and doing drugs to the early morning and going straight to brunch was always a forgetful memory but we didn’t care.

I met Violetta at How Memes Shaped the War in Ukraine: a discussion by Violetta Petrova (@violettearth) & Aloiso Wilmoth (@moma.ps5)

Yurié Collins is an actress and comedian.
I met Yurié at a dinner party that friend and guest of the show Taisuke put together in Brooklyn. Friend Jun Mabuchi was in attendance and I am not Japanese.
Food and drinks were pouring and Yurie was out here telling her jokes, stories at the torched Balthazar and how she has 400,000 followers on TikTok. We love this for her. She makes the best videos about her life.
I can’t get sucked into her videos on TikTok, I’d get lost in them. I’d lose a whole day.
Yurié is the voice of Seren in the video game Wild Hearts and has a movie called Sponsored.

Had to stop just saying designer because people either be thinking it’s fashion design or the rapper with two i’s.
But it’s Massarelli with two S’s and two L’s.
I first met Nick outside of the zine function at the pier in Philly chopping it up. Dahsar was doing our first collaboration with Commercial Type and the rest was history.
Nick went to Drexel for his BS in Graphic Design and Yale for his MFA. We got a big dawg on the pod. Currently over at fan favorite, Actual Source, as a Senior Designer.
But where we really know Nick is from First Last a periodic artist publication co-ran with Sean Murray.

James is also a writer, consultant and public speaker on radio’s future.
James has previously worked at BBC and Virgin Radio.
I first heard of James when I went to Podcast Movement where he opened up the podcast pit basically in Los Angeles. Introducing Will Ferrell to the stage, I wondered who he was.
Little did I know he is also the founder of Podnews, where I get all my podcast news from. No shameless plug here. If you decide you want to get into the podcasting space or learn what’s going on in podcasting just subscribe to his newsletter.
James was kind enough to feature us in the newsletter as a podcasting in the wild for advertising when we did the collaboration with friend and guest of the show Ryan Evans. His Japanese is so good, it’s inspiring me to learn Korean.
I heard of Richard where Kim sent me a Instagram DM of Richard’s reel of “Tinder Date in Japan” with Richard’s smiling face of him in a wig playing the beautiful girl that he is and I watched it. Hilarious. I was hooked.

Alright anyways I was then in a K-Hole of videos. Tons to watch. If you’re into subtitles and cos-play this is the page for you.

Surprisedly I’ve eaten at The Orchard Townhouse when I used to work in Chelsea, oh my photo and video days, but definitely stopped by when I’m bopping around to galleries.
Lo and behold I enjoy walking down Chelsea into the West Village, it’s kind of one of my favorite things to do. Get my steps in. But yes I know I tell all my friends I never go above 14th street but this is an exception.
Now I can add a favorite into my Google Maps for Nat’s on Bank which was a great experience having friend, guest, and collaborator Christian Schwartz of Commercial Type to go to lunch with.

Darby Irrgang is a Cinematographer, Camera Operator and Camera Assistant based in Philadelphia and New York.
I first met Darby on the set of Soul Glo’s music video for ‘Driponomics’ directed by Dan White, Assistant Director by friend and guest of the show Marisa Dabice of Mannequin Pussy and Director of Photography our lovely guest, Darby Irrgang.
We run in similar circles. 1 degree of separation. The music scene in Philly is one of the best music scenes I have ever seen. It is so supportive. Everyone knows everyone. Everyone used to work at the same coffee shop or restaurant and everyone who has a music project makes a music video.
Darby has worked for many of your favorite musicians such as Kurt Vile, Soul Glo, Tigers Jaw, Sadie from Speedy Ortiz
Her film photos are bomb too. Her photos of Rivka from Spirit of the Beehive for Radmad Jewelers are lit.
In the words of Dan White and everyone in the photo and video industry, couldn’t have done it without the best team.

Lee Phillips is poet and a writer.
I first met Lee at the Canal Street Market during the Office Coffee days and enjoyed reading her writing for Office Magazine.
Lee has consulted for many brands such as Youth to the People and Outdoor Voices and has been on teams with titles ranging from editorial intern to Editorial Director and Lead Copy Writer. Across art, culture, beauty and opinion, Lee has written for publications like Document Journal, Byrdie and more.
Even though Lee writes about the mental space which we love, I was impressed by Lee’s poetry.
Lee has written poetry with titles “Nowhere Words” “Ink is an Invasive Species” and “Space We Could Only Cross With A Rocket.”
Lee co-wrote a feature script, and directed two short films, one of which, “Observations of the Amazing World Around Us,” premiered at Nitehawk Cinema as an official NoBudge selection.

Greg Rivera also known as Greg Mishka is an artist and the Co-Founder and President of Mishka
Greg has comepeted in Secret Walls along with Pow Wow for graffitti.
Remember the mural at Vinnies Pizza?
MISHKA began as a company that made cool t-shirts like their signature eyeball. It has since grown into a lifestyle brand that has created its own culture. MISHKA has crafted a distinct world for itself and its legion of Death Adders and Twerps. Creating many characters in the Mishka Universe and collaborating with so many artists that I love such as Johnny Ryan.
I first remember carrying Mishka in a streetwear store I was the buyer of and was so proud to have them as our first brand. Loved riding around every city in a Mishka tidye tanktop.
I run into Lamour Supreme from time to time and love chatting to Nick Dziewit also known as Sweat Daddy about Mishka history. I love Action Bronson, Danny Brown and The Death Set. That was such a great time.
We’re currently in the Indie Sleeze era, will we be going back to hipster culture.
Keep Watch!
Please welcome Greg Mishka to Wear Many Hats.
James Williams III is a Virginia bred/Atlanta based interdisciplinary artist.
An insight to Williams journey. He has an expansive background ranging from AutoCAD drafting, Graphic Communications, Activation Design all the way to Mental Health. He has been particularly engaged in his art practice since 2016.

James body of work spans from drawing and painting to sculpture, furniture, and installation.
I have seen James’s work before whether it’s with showcasing the “Open Studio” Furniture Exhibition over at friends and guests of the show Lichen NYC.

Jason Crombie is a writer and the Editor in Chief for Monster Children.
I’ve been reading Monster Children for years whether it was for skateboarding, art, music, cars, girls, not porn, travel, design, photography, the list goes on.
I have a stack of Monster Children in my USM Haller. No flex. Not porn.
In 2003, Jason created the magazine Wooooo that featured Thurston Moore, Mark Gonzales, Zach Galifianakis, James Dean’s roommate, and Michelle Williams, among other lesser-known individuals which would probably feature me at some point.
Wooooo established Jason as someone able to conduct interviews and cobble sentences together, which resulted in real writing work. Then more work.
My favorite part of his bio is:
Jason mentions that he was able to quit his job at the dildo factory and begin living the frightening and unpredictable life of a freelance scribe.
So that means I no longer work at the dildo factory as well.
Jason contributed features and interviews to publications such as ID, Vice, Saturdays, Fantastic Man, V Magazine, and more.
Jason also provided creative direction and copy for many brands, including Nike, Adidas, Canon, Vans, Burton, and Budweiser.
In 2012, Jason became Editor in Chief of Monster Children magazine. Turns out he has been working on a non-fiction novel since 2017.
This is one of the moments where I’ve known about Jason’s work for years but never really mentioned it to anybody because nobody asks.
I used to steal Monster Children’s at Barnes and Noble but now I can afford them. Not a flex. Not porn.
Please welcome Jason Crombie to Wear Many Hats.
Rich Tu is a first generation Filipino American and I am not.

Rich is a Creative Director, Designer, Illustrator, and artist who has held roles at MTV, ViacomCBS and Nike.
Rich has a podcast called First Generation Burden which focuses on diversity within the creative industry.
I first met Rich when he showed up to our Dahsar release in collaboration with type foundry, Commercial Type held in Soho, when I sold him a T-Shirt from that collection. Little did I know we had legends in the building.
Rich sported the Dahsar T-Shirt in the Uniqlo campaign and it’s there is also a photo of him rocking it on the bio of his website.
Rich does talks all over the world, has artist representation with Sunday Afternoon agency, and has won many awards as a designer.
This is the First Generation Burden podcast offshoot.
Please welcome Rich Tu to Wear Many Hats.
Saeed Ferguson is a designer, photographer, and is heavily rooted in the streetwear community.
You may know him as the face of All Caps Studio. But I know him as the smiling face I loved to see every time I walked into Abakus Takeout, now Ps and Qs.
Even though me and Saeed would chat it up when I saw him at the shops he worked at respectfully, we would never talk about streetwear. We would talk about things that actually mattered.
Topics such as living in our new space, studios, design, coffee, music, social justice and community.
Saeed’s voice matches his face. It’s friendly, I could never see him mad. Everyone gets mad but I’ve never seen Saeed mad or angry. I don’t even know what that’s like. He’s such a great dude. If I make him laugh I know I’m cut out to be a comedian.
As long as the grass grows and the water flows.
Please welcome Saeed Ferguson to Wear Many Hats.

Me and Hassan immediately hit it off where he was talking to me about plans on how he wanted to start a brand and podcast. Well guess what Hassan, it starts here. Right on WMH.

Marisa Kalil-Barrino is a journalist who has written for Office Magazine, Eater, Brooklyn Magazine and many more.
I only know Marisa through her string of the new online Brooklyn Magazine stories. Her stories are honestly the only thing that resonates with me.
I still feel the youth ringing through me when I know at least 4 out of the 12 DJs in her list of Brooklyn DJs I need to know.
Marisa’s niches include fashion, music, art, culture, and of course the news.
So many words, so little time. I have a way with words. Do I? We shall see on this episode. Marisa, I already know she’s going to teach me a new word or two.

I first met Lucy on the set of our Brett Gray photoshoot that Dahsar produced in Philadelphia where she was one of the photo assistants for the great Aaron Ricketts.

Lucy is signed to APM Models, has been in several New York Fashion Week shoots I was stoked to see that she modeled at my all time favorite place, Electric Lady Studios.
Lucy does hilarious IG reels with the deadpan face and you mouth the words where you know somethings up.
Please welcome Lucy Sanchez to Wear Many Hats.
Paul Dally is a musician.
I first saw Paul perform opening for Dijon at Music Hall of Williamsburg then an intimate set at the New York City location of the Cactus Store.
Paul can throw down an acoustic guitar and also sing and dance to his own tunes while his beat machine plays all night long.
While at the Cactus Store the set was so good, we wondering if we could go ”One More Song” but not too loud to make the neighbors mad. Yeah it was that good.
Paul Dally has a unique voice that you can bop to when you’re walking the streets of New York City or LA.
Please welcome Paul Dally to Wear Many Hats.

Ian Shiver is a photographer who I believe every single one of my Philly and LA transplant friends who moved from Philly or NYC worked with except for me, why is that?
Ian’s still life photography for brands looks so surreal that make you go more beyond, “ok I’ll buy it” but they all look like you’re in ASAP Rocky’s music video for “LSD”
Ian’s represented by DMB Represents but his select clients include Adidas, Polaroid, Kodak, and Questlove, honestly check out his IG, you’ll find a brand you’ll fall in love with with his photos.
Ian has shot with friends ALLCAPSSTUDIO, Middle Child, Two Robbers, and more amazing locals from Philly that you can see in their publishing collective, IOTA Editions.
Ian’s profile pic is a kid taking a picture and it gives us throwbacks that we were all once that kid wanting to take a picture.

Jae Kim is a national treasure and we need him to stay in the states and not have him get drafted into the war. Don’t know what a podcast would do but we’re here to stop it from happening.
Please welcome Jae Kim to Wear Many Hats.

Michelle Tuan is a comedian and actress based in Los Angeles.
I met Michelle when she worked at Opening Ceremony in New York and I told her I was taking comedy writing classes because that time I believed I could write for SNL and told her about my spiritual journey about being a comedian but it was most likely a quarter life crisis.
But instead she became a comedian herself and has been in commercials. I’m so proud of her.
You can catch Michelle hosting Craft Services on Popshop Live every Tuesday at 6PM PST.
I can’t stop playing her IG stories. When you watch her videos, it's like you’re about to eat pop rocks and then you’re about to get that popping sensation. That’s how I feel when I see her. It’s a tingly sensation or I just smoked a ton of weed. Either or I feel good or I don’t really know how to feel.
Socially awkward social butterfly but with jokes.
Please welcome Michelle Tuan to Wear Many Hats.

Liam released his catchy new record, 'Acts of Service' out on Terrible Records and it's straight hits.
It’s either I’m listening to Liam or Harry Styles.

Please welcome Brian Nguyen to Wear Many Hats.

Sacred Pact is a boutique film production company based in New York City.
I first heard of Sacred Pact doing short commercials for my good friends and guests of the pod Kelsey and Lia for their project Sunday School where they featured their line of tees and work.
I also heard of Sacred Pact though their collaboration with friend and guest of the pod, Che Nembard of Clips Co-Op and their installment of Double Feature Fridays where they feature cult classic films and free vibes.
After their partnership I had to know what Sacred Pact was about. Sacred Pact came together in 2016 through the love of exploration, storytelling, and rich visuals.
They have directed, DP’d, produced, and edited numerous short documentaries, music videos, and fashion commercials.
Sacred Pact clients include T Magazine, Vice, Vogue, Billboard, Dazed Media, The Metropolitan Opera and a ton more.
Our friendships became bigger when I met Sunny Lee through another friend and guest of the pod, Sabreen Jafry at a Clips Co-Op activation at Public Records.
If you don’t know these places or what I’m saying, or who these great people are, educate yourself!
Lastly I went to a special screening of Sacred Pact’s Season 1 of Hidden Kingdom. An unconventional and intimate documentary web series that explores the lives of five New York dancers.
It blew me away and I walked out of the screening speechless.
Sacred Pact is Sunny Lee and Jacqueline Davis. A Film Company You Can Trust.

Dana Veraldi is an illustrator, ceramist, doula, visual artist, and mom. Dana is best known for her hand-drawn portraits of cultural icons and her label DEERDANA, which she founded with partner Kevin Tekinel.
Been following her illustrations since day one, which I have no idea what day that was but when her illustrations were popped up on American Apparel tees, murals on Bedford Ace, plates at restaurants such as Escuela in Los Angeles.
Huge fan of Dana’s Q+A series where she interviews my favorites such as Matt McCormick, J Scott, Chris Black, and Kilo Kish.
Remember the early 2000s when things were simpler and hipster culture was in and collaborating for big brands were cool? Collaborations with Playboy, GAP, Collette, Opening Ceremony, Theory, Adidas, Tory Burch.
People who are your favorite E Hollywood stars have worn Deer Dana such as FKA Twigs, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Amanda Seyfried, Orlando Bloom, Jonah Hill, Lupita Nyongo, Dakota Fanning, Justin Bieber, Jay Z the list goes on.
I would like to think everyone has worn a Deer Dana tee if you were alive from 2010–2015. I don’t usually call people legends on my podcast but Dana is a legend. I don’t think John Legend has worn a Deer dana tee and we can all live without knowing that.
Let’s go back in time with Dana Veraldi.
We always get asked in New York City what do you do, what do you do on the side, what are your passions, what do you like to do, no really, what do you like to do.
I met Trey Hill previously as a security guard at one of my favorite vintage, buy, sell, trade, resellers at the Bushwick Beacon’s Closet where in the Covid-19 pandemic, we had to wait in line before we could get in because there was a capacity for the amount of people who could shop in the store. It was Winter 2021,’ snow was still on the ground, and the line to get in was compared to as waiting in line to get into one of Bushwick’s favorite clubs such as Mood Ring or Bossa Nova.
The NYTimes wrote a piece on where to meet people was in line getting covid 19 tests because the line was so long and people were waiting for hours. This was the same difference but we got to know each other not by same symptoms of the virus but symptoms of complimenting each others style.
I met Trey Hill after waiting in line for 1 hour but I was next up to go into the store. I see Trey Hill’s stylish fit and I immediately had to compliment him.
I had to ask about his fit and then after I asked if I could take a film photo of him. Who would have thought it lead to a brand new friendship.
Please Trey Hill welcome to Wear Many Hats Podcast.

Scott Haven is one of the co-founders of Homecoming, a coffee shop plant shop based in Brooklyn, NY.

Vanessa is the other co-founder of Homecoming who has opt out to come on pod so instead we’re having an all boys club podcast episode.

He models on the side, does Jiu Jitsu, rips on the guitar. His Prince painting is phenomenal.

Congrats to Kabuki for her first Valentine’s Day and Mothers Day because we all know those are the holidays that you know that are hot to pick up before you see your love ones. Those holidays are right above getting flowers on a third date or graduation day. No I didn’t come up with those statistics.
FLEURS FROM THE ABYSS OF YOUR WILDEST WET DREAMS.
Thanks for coming on Naoko de Oliveira.

Geoff is often mistaken as a furniture designer for all the chairs he puts on Ig but no it's because we like to sit our asses down on some nice comfy seats. And also have a deep appreciation for chairs.
People often like to post fit pics such as myself, he likes to post pictures of rare books, zines, and vintage punk tees.
Here we are learning how you can teach an illustration class but can't draw.
People says he's a snack but we're going to have a whole meal.
We have Justin Mariano and Eunice Chun from the very first Wear Many Hats episode coming back on to do an exclusive “Where ya at” episode. This is very exciting because a lot has changed since 2018 and I mean a lot.
Justin was a flower boy no Tyler although we saw Tyler, the creator at the Garden in 2019 and that was the last time he worked as a flower dealer at the Canal Street Market and also did flowers for our Dahsar Commercial Type release.
Eunice was slinging coffee at city of saints which I somehow still get at Foster Sundry shout out to Hannah and was an assistant at the Gagosian Gallery.
They’ve all grown into big hotshots now that it was so hard to track these guys down. Ones on Instagram the other is not. I had to slide into ones DMs to get to and surprisingly it wasn’t Eunice’s.
I was so glad to have them back on the show, welcome back Justin Mariano and Eunice Chun.

If I were to tell my high school self right now that I would have Nick Thune on the podcast, he would be like, what the hell is a podcast?
I never watched cartoons before going to school, only Comedy Central Presents stand up shows at 7am and Nick Thune was my all time fav. Having the guitar played in with his sets was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen mind you I was going thru a weird singer songwriter phase
In 2008, the instant classic instant messenger love song hits hard.
First time I ever joined a comedian newsletter and the title was Eye Thune. RIP to I-Tunes obviously.
First time I ever saw Nick Thune perform live was at Johnny Brenda’s in Fishtown, Philly with the all funny Kate Berlant and Ben Kronberg and it was a night to remember. Laced Nick Thune up with some DAHSAR gear. Also a few years later at The Bell Tower in Gowanus, Brooklyn to lace him with more DAHSAR gear but not with Damien Jurado during their Sad Music, Sad Comedy tour which would have been so up my alley because those two genres are what I’m about.
Sad Music, Sad Comedy, Sad Podcast episode, just playin.

Dino Sanchez is a designer working in objects, furniture, and spaces. He designs and builds out of his studio in Pennsylvania.
But really Dino does design beautiful pieces of furniture. The summit collection he recently put out he says expresses a direct visual language and a shared vocabulary of components.
Which is the most beautiful sentence I’ve ever read in regards to someone making furniture in this day and age.
I met Dino for the first time at the Commercial Type Dahsar party for commercial classics. He knows how to run a bar. Drinks were flowing, he basically ran the party with us which was amazing.
Dino loves our new collection with Commercial Type and to have his stamp of approval means a whale lot because Dino is an absolute legend.
Dino is a designer from a senior designer, creative director, former executive design director at Droga5 and partner over at Commercial Type.
Slowkey could sound like an animal. It could sound like a sloth going at a slow pace or it could be an animal that surprisingly can go really fast and surprise you with it’s unknown traits and characteristics that make you not know what to expect.
My next guest is a friend from, you guessed it, Philadelphia where we used to party all the time and also get things done. My only fond memory is her going to all of Zak and Stoops parties called the ILL Society and let me tell you she’s the life of the party.
Dani also moved up to New York. I knew she would because Slowkey was moving fast. Last time we met up she was working at Conde Nast and we had a meeting honestly just touch base instead of work.
Slowkey became High-key and definitely the same animal she was in Philly.
She is the Founder of Prophets Over Profits that honestly do the good work. I wish Dahsar sponsored one of her events
She’s the director of partnerships at House of Yes where we shot our latest lookbook for the Commercial Type collaboration for Commercial Classics.
Lizzy Jo is for the community and she's all about giving back. She uses her design skills for good and a tool to make sure your art is not black and white. She is “multidisciplinary” which she says is a (typical millennial terminology WHICH IT IS!) designer who ties together color and culture in all her personal projects.
Lizzy has worked for Art 21, Loud Community, DBN, Hot Mic Media, Business as Usual.
She’s a teacher, appreciates the arts, is sex positive, loves color. We met on Tinder.
Robert Perry the heart of Tattooed Moms, my favorite bar in Philadelphia where I basically grew up in. Handsome man that basically looks like he’s been in all of your favorite bands. He’s been running Tattooed Mom’s for 23 years! Located at 530 South Street. Basically everyone’s favorite street in Philadelphia, Robert is the kind soul that you would always love running into. The endless conversations we would have of what shows would be on at Tattooed Moms? Craft shows, skate video releases, stand up comedy, the food specials, the bar is definitely a second home that is welcomed to all, every living life on every planet. If you’re an artist, you’re able to create whatever you’d like to wheatpaste your poster or sticker upstairs, anything you’d want to do. It’s basically a museum and it’s a spot I tell everyone who’s visiting Philly to go check out Tattooed Mom’s.
We’ve done a collaboration with Tattooed Mom’s and we released a couple tees and 5panel hats that were a Dahsar classic.
Robert has the most soothing voice that comfort anyone including a time like this. He should have section on the mindfulness app of just talking about art.
Robert has given back to the community and the artists are the soul of TMOMS.
Homeboy Sandman and I have a relationship like no other. Organic as ever. How I heard about him for the first time was when I met my friend James, spinning me his record “First of a Living Breed” in his apartment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. James told me what he knew about Sandman and from there on I was hooked. The love language of music in the room having all these special people listening to Homeboy Sandman’s record made me one day hope to see him at a show.
Surely enough, I saw him at the Hard Rock Cafe in Philadelphia with another favorite, Oddisee with my friend Amanda and before he got on stage I met up with him, had a conversation about his music and my brand Dahsar and I slipped him the ‘Hail Mary’ hat a Dahsar original, one of our first hats ever, which has an all over Virgin Mary print on the inside and right when he got on stage he wore it and he was the first person to wear my gear on stage.
Fast forward, we collaborated on tour merch, released a couple 5-panels and t-shirts together and I went to a few shows in the states. Always a pleasure to see Homeboy Sandman anywhere on the streets. One of my favorite musicians in the game please welcome Homeboy Sandman.

Justin Esposito aka FREEJBOOSIE aka the man of many talents basically a modern day renaissance man in the streetwear world that we currently live in. I was roommates with his brother Chris back in Philly, and when he came thru, I laced him with Dahsar, and we were homies ever since. Music is his specialty, his background, his everything but what he’s also known for is his contribution to the streetwear world. His knowledge on vintage grails and the music he produces, we need to protect this man at all costs for the brilliant knowledge that he has on music and streetwear and all around great guy to be around with.
