Carol's Rugby Odyssey returns from being sidelined by a bollocking cold. With the team on a bye, UQ wing/full back Laurence Rivard steps away from the eggs & b. to talk on the 11 April BayFM Sport Show.
Rugby gypsy, Red Heavy, and scholar Katie Selhorst joined me on BayFM Sports Show on the morning of the round 3 clash with GPS. We discover we were born in different hospitals in the same city in a faraway land and have nice things to say about everybody.
This episode dedicated to Red Frenchy and Meg who got bones smashed in game 1 (round 2). Rugby, right? The first four and a half minutes I get a bit cross then it's back to business as usual. Congrats to Norths on their win and to all the first gamers this week.
Suffering (the teeniest bit - more like irritation really) with a hammy and glute situ Carol decides to go see her mother and on the way remembers she hasn't recorded this thing yet. Half travelogue half pity party all in fun.
Too late I realise interviewing my coach might be a bit awkward. And the the phones broke so picture me holding my mobile to the mic and trying to sit far enough away so I'm audible to Dan but not shouting at the audience. Live radio is a testing business.
