Ancestors Alliance is a social enterprise that empowers elders and medicine leaders who are connected to their cultural backgrounds the ability to monetarily sustain themselves by sharing their wisdom. We do this through workshops and other forms of educational offerings. We aim to be a hub of ancestral knowledge so that there can be respectful use of indigenous and ancestral spiritual philosophies and practices.
We believe in being guided by the tribal village mindset where we look up to our elders. We value the wisdom of indigenous philosophy and principles all around the world.
Jeannine Grace Wand is a gifted Medicine Woman and 5th generation, Spiritual Healer. Having tapped in the Ancient Traditions of Ancestral Wisdom and Healing working with Sacred Plants. Having experienced her own deep healing from the physical, emotional, and sexual abuse she now works with others to clear trauma from the Ancestral Root and the physical body. She brings not only her Ancestral Traditions and Wisdom to her work but has studied and practiced for over 25 years and is considered a Master Healer, Teacher, and Medicine Woman.
In our conversation, we address how our ancestral patterns show up when coming to the ceremony. We talk about how ancestral healing can be challenging and rewarding in addressing our modern dilemmas. Our guest Francesca Julia Fabijanna is a shaman, body therapist, and spiritual coach. Andean shamanism found her and set her on her shamanic path. She was accompanied by the power of plants, especially Mama Cacao, the wisdom of the earth, and the depths of the Komos. Our guest today is Myranda Bennett Wakíŋyaŋ Wówakȟaŋ Hiŋháŋ. She has been raised in her traditional Lakȟóta teachings through her maternal side, her mother Anne tȟáȟča čhaŋté a Holy Woman and keeper and have bestowed her teachings to her. Through her initiations, she has earned the ability to help guide in ceremonial practice. Myranda is A Holy Guardian and keeper of her traditional medicines and this extends to her mission of holding all indigenous traditions safe and protected.
Myranda has also dedicated over 12 years to the Ancient Mystery Teachings inspired through her paternal line. She has studied the ritual and ceremonial practices of pre-colonial Egypt, Mesopotamia, Pre Religion Europe, and South American traditions. Her initiations include studies in esotericism, Qabalah, Ritual Mastery, and the Path of High Priestess. Myranda is an avid researcher in ancient philosophy, history, anthropology, and archeology.
Her work with Elder Willy Dunn matȟóȟota tȟáŋka over the last twenty years has helped her be able to traverse the other worlds and underworlds in safety and healing. Through many modalities, shadow work, and the understanding of Physical and Spiritual DNA she is equipped to guide patients into the healing of trauma and to help activate their supernatural abilities.
It has been Myranda’s mission to create a space where seekers can learn and embrace their ancestral teachings, spiritual gifts, and discipline. It is her vision to provide support and compassion to each student in a traditional way to dismantle the constructs of New Age dogma so we may return to integrity, transparency, and accountability in our spiritual practices. Juana was founding President of the National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI) and the first Latina faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership teaching in The Leadership Development Program – the most highly utilized executive training program in the world. She has designed, developed, and implemented leadership programs for national nonprofits, corporations, and government agencies across the country. Her book Salsa, Soul, and Spirit: Leadership for a Multicultural Age won the International Latino Book Award for leadership in 2008 and is utilized in over 200 Universities. In 2014 her book The Power of Latino Leadership was awarded the Nautilus Award for Best Multicultural book and the International Latino Award for leadership. In 2015 she contributed to the new edition of The New York Times best-seller: Peter Drucker’s, Five Questions Most Important Questions: Enduring Wisdom for Today’s Leaders. Juana served as advisor to Harvard’s Hispanic Journal on Public Policy, the Kellogg National Fellows Program, as board vice chair of the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership, and a trustee of the International Leadership Association (ILA). In 2019 she received The Life-Time Achievement Award from ILA.
