Are you tired of the legalistic or worse, hedonistic extremes in Christianity? It seems like most Christians and churches are either the ultra traditional type who push oppressive standards which are not found in the Bible or they play loose with Scripture and ignore clearly defined standards given by God. Pastor Bryan seeks to show you a balanced approach through walking in the Holy Spirit and attempting to not go beyond what is written in the Bible. Complete balance is impossible, but our heart needs to be geared toward that goal. So escape the trap of extremes and find a balanced Christian life. This podcast deals with many social, theological, and philosophical issues of the day. It attempts to help you think balanced, feel balanced, and most importantly live balanced in all you do as a Christian. Pastor Bryan will bring on credible guests to interview who help shed light on current issues and events. We hope this broadcast will be an enlightening time. Quite being a fake Christian. Follow God in a relationship so unbelievers will want to do the same.
In episode 9, Bryan and David presents biblical examples of people walking in the Holy Spirit as well as their responsibility to die to the Law of Moses and be married to the Law of Christ. This episode is very practical and informative. It will help a Christian grow in Christ and walk closer to Him in a real, non-religious, biblical relationship. (2 Corinthians 3:7-11 is the verse that Bryan could not find which describes the Christian dying to the Ten Commandments and marrying the ethics and the morals of the New Testament, which include 9 of the Ten Commandments.)

In Episode 6, Bryan got off on a rabbit trail where he discussed John 1:1-15 in an attempt to defend it against the Jehovah's Witnesses. While the message was clear, it could have been clearer. This bonus clarification is designed to teach this important passage more clear so one can understand not only the divinity of Christ, but also how to defend it from Scripture before anyone who does not believe in it.

In Episode 6, Bryan and David discuss the issue of idolatry in the United States. They explain how ethics and morals are directly connected to the very nature of God. By changing one moral and stating God is okay with that moral, is literally exchanging God for an idol. God's truth are clear, absolute, and mandatory. Any deviation is idolatry.

Episode 5 describes how the only true definition of truth is that which corresponds to reality. It is objective and not subjective. Truth is also absolute and is not fluid. The world attempts to eradicate absolute truth in order to eradicate any moral guilt and consequence for their sin. They feel that if they can get rid of truth, they can get rid of God. Through this suppression of truth, man has dreamed up fallacious alternative definitions of truth, all of which are full of logical errors and are also impossible to live out consistently. Only biblical, Christian truth can be lived out consistently and has evidence to back it up, hence it is absolute and corresponds to reality.

Episode 4 is part two of the series on Biblical Inerrancy. Bryan and David continue to defend the error-free nature of the Bible, the fallibility of Science and anti-biblical philosophy, as well as give insight into both lower and higher textual criticism of the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts of the Bible. Then they apply inerrancy to the church by refuting the false doctrine of a liberal church's doctrinal statement.

In Episode 3, Bryan and David discuss the vital importance of Biblical Inerrancy (the Bible being Error-Free in all areas) in relation to American Culture. They defend how since God cannot lie and the Bible claims to be His word, it cannot lie. Therefore, the Bible must be truthful for it is of God. Therefore, if it is truthful and of God, it is our absolute authority.
They also defend inspiration, inerrancy and even the existence of God in this episode. It is apologetically rich, consistent, and rationally sound. We encourage you to watch and be enriched by God's Word.

Episode 1 discusses the imbalance within American Christianity. Instead of walking with God, we tend to float to extremes. This creates inconsistency and hypocrisy. We must walk with God to find that proper balance in the Spirit. After finding the proper balance, we must apply it to every area of our lives. The first area is the public school system. The American Public School system teaches subject matter that is inherently non-Christian.
Should Christians send their kids to public schools? Should we teach against one thing only to allow a stranger to teach the same thing as truth? If we do send them to public schools, how can we combat what they learn? The Balanced Christian Podcast tackles these issues plus so much more.
