What happens in the space between our prayers and God’s deliverance? In this episode of Real Life with Lynne, we step into Exodus 2:23–25 and sit with the Israelites in their suffering—long before the plagues, the miracles, and the Red Sea. This is the moment where the people groaned, cried out, and wondered if God was listening.
Through a dramatic retelling and honest reflection, I explore four powerful truths about God’s character: He hears, He remembers, He sees, and He knows. Even when rescue feels delayed and silence feels heavy, God is not absent. He is at work—often in ways we cannot yet see.
If you find yourself waiting, weary, or questioning where God is in the midst of it all, this episode offers reassurance that the space between the cry and the rescue is still held by Him.

As a new year approaches, it’s natural to look back on where we’ve been and wonder what lies ahead. In this episode of Real Life with Lynne, I reflect on Philippians 3:7–14 and share what I am asking God for in 2026 — healing from reopened wounds, a deeper trust in the power of the resurrection, and growth in contentment with both what I have and who God has created me to be.
This episode is an honest conversation about holding the past loosely while pressing forward with hope, even when the journey feels unfinished. Together, we’re reminded that the ultimate goal isn’t perfection or progress, but being found in Jesus and truly knowing Him.
Whether you’re entering a new year with clarity or uncertainty, this episode offers space to pause, reflect, and press on with faith.

When the Israelites stood trapped between Pharaoh’s army and the Red Sea, God’s presence became their shield. A simple cloud blocked the enemy, and a mighty wind worked all night to part the waters. In this episode, we’ll reflect on what it means to trust God in the waiting — when the miracle hasn’t yet come, but His presence is already enough.
Be encouraged: even when the night feels long, God is still making a way.

When you look into the mirror, what do you see? For many of us, the reflection feels fractured — flaws, failures, and broken pieces staring back. But the mirror isn’t the final word. In this episode, we’ll talk about how God sees beyond the cracks to the whole masterpiece He created. Together, we’ll explore Scriptures that remind us of who we truly are in Christ and why our worth isn’t measured by a shattered reflection, but by the One who formed us.
This episode is an invitation to step away from the lies of the mirror and lean into the truth of God’s gaze — a truth that calls us chosen, loved, and redeemed.

Are we simply checking boxes of faith, or are we truly walking in friendship with God? In this episode, Lynne explores the tension between religion and relationship within Christianity. Through a modern retelling of the Pharisees’ mindset, biblical insight, and reflective questions, listeners are invited to consider where they fall on the continuum. Discover how God calls us beyond appearances and into authentic intimacy with Him.

We've all seen Bible verses printed on coffee mugs, t-shirts, or wall art — Jeremiah 29:11, Philippians 4:13, Romans 8:28. They’re beautiful promises, but sometimes they get so familiar that we forget the weight behind them. In this episode, we’ll talk about how easy it is to let God’s promises become background noise, and how to return to the truth that these words aren’t just nice sayings — they’re living promises from a God who keeps His Word.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer isn’t advice, but presence. In this episode, I reflect on Ecclesiastes 3 and a song that reshaped my perspective—Not Right Now by Jason Gray. Together, they remind us there’s a time to speak, and a time to simply show up, sit in the dark, and let silence speak.

When you first started learning to ride a bike, did you fall on the ground? All of us have taken a tumble to the ground one way or another, but how many of us fall down mentally or spiritually? Instead of falling to the ground, people often rest on their own knowledge, strengths, and skills OR they lean on someone nearby. Over the next few episodes, I hope you will listen in as I talk about six questions about God's relationship to us that are part of the solid foundation you can rest on everyday regardless of circumstances. Sit back and listen to an introduction to the series and the story of a woman God met when she fell to her knees in desperation.
