We must clothe ourselves with humility toward one another and we must humble ourselves so that God may exalt us at the proper time.
The fiery trials of suffering are meant to prepare us for Jesus's second coming. They should not surprise us, they should cause us to rejoice, they prove that we are blessed, and they do not give us license to sin. From this we can draw that we should expect suffering, rejoice in our suffering, and understand the basis for biblical blessing.
Whether you have a -speaking gift- or -serving gift- we must use our spiritual gifts to serve one another with the goal of bringing glory to God.
In this continuation of our study in 1 Peter Pastor Justin explains how Christ suffered for our sins so that he might bring us closer to God.
In this sermon we are able to recalibrate and aline our focus for the upcoming year. I pray that we can place our sights on the importance of trusting and being obedient to what God says.

In this message we hear of Peters exhortation regarding human government, politics, and polity. We must study this in light of the earlier messages he has shared with us in his epistle. This world is not our home. We are sojourners who belong to the triune God.
As believers we most long for the pure spiritual milk of God's word. We must thirst for the word of God and be rooted in his word.
A life that is truly happy and content is found by those who walk according to the Word of God.
What actually keeps us close to God-- The fear of the Lord. We must conduct ourselves with fear throughout the time of our exile.
We are called to make a joyful noise. To praise God and sing songs to Him. Examine your life and ensure that you are being obedient to what the Lord has called us to do.
In this sermon Pastor Justin explains that because we are saved by grace through faith we must obey God. Listen as he shares how we can practically do this.
Although we encounter trails they are temporary, and though we may face them we can face them with hope knowing that through them God is strengthening our faith, for His glory. When we feel we are at the end of our rope the Holy Spirt living inside of us revives us, and gives us a never ending eternal hope to persevere and carry on to our glorious inheritance.
