Listen now (5 min) | After my flight from London arrived late, I missed my connection and spent a night in Amsterdam and then another in Keflavik, Iceland. It was a bit surreal, I thought I'd never get to Pittsburgh, but perhaps the clear air was just the tonic I needed. Finally after two days of travelling, having left on Friday morning, I arrived in Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon. Everyone is on their phones, it rattles and shakes, there are no signs, I'm often on the wrong line and have to get a lift home from wherever I end up. People on the bus are happy to chat to each other, they'll tell you their tales. I like it when there's happiness.
