The idea for In The Green Room podcast was born over a few cold ones (as all good ideas are) at the Burwood Inn mid 2019, with the plan to kick off the 2020 season, well we all know how that panned out. The idea was put back in the cool room and to be ready and raring to go as soon as rugby was back.
Well, it’s 2021 and rugby is back, and with it so is In The Green Room!
The lads are hoping to bring you a new episode every Friday with a new guest from within the greens family, from coaching staff and players to old boys and the odd fan, just to get you in the mood for Saturday.
Tune in for some soft hitting questions, a couple of laughs a few stories and a bit of fun.
Well we're back with another, possibly last episode of season 2 of In The Green Room. This weeks guest is Jason Toby. Tobe's is one of the ultimate clubman having played every grade possible for the club as well as coaching. He's also represented Australia in touch footy.

We're joined In The Green Room by none other than brothers Cameron and Marcus Hainsworth. Both decorated Greens players playing in their time. We catch up for a good chat about how they become Greens players, and a few other stories.
Joining the boys In The Green Room today is none other than Premier 1 captain, Sam Rouse. We chat about how the team is sitting after the first half of the competition, old boys day coming up and who we'd like to be cable tie night.

Unfortunately Chris Jones was unable to log in today for our final episode of In The Green Room. Although on this weeks episode, our final episode for the season, Will Frost chats with Pugga about the end of the season and capturing the minor premiership in a shortened season, how all it took was a couple of beers from Tim Wolf to get him to the Greens. We also chat horses, beautiful Sawtell and of course, 3 blokes he'd like to join us on the end of season trip.

Well it took a bit of time but we managed to get our first virtual podcast done. We talk chat about his road the becoming a Greens player and eventually captaining 1st grade, his time as a coach and a lot of great stories along the way. Not to be missed.
We're joined by the front rowers tonight in Phil Ryan and Dave Puchert, who has got the chance to wear the Green jersey for the first time since coming to the club some 2 years ago. We chat about that, the loss against Hamilton at home, the upcoming game against Wanderers and how Dave knocked out Phil's front tooth.
It's reunion week this week and tonight we are joined by 2 Greens greats and all round great blokes, Eddy McDonald and Jay Strachan. Ten years since the 2011 1st grade team went through undefeated, a feat that will be very hard to top. Currently our 2021 side sits undefeated heading into the second part of the season. Tune in as we have a chat about the 2011 season, the game and the 3-4 day bender afterwards.

Life member Doug Murray and the one time Penrith Panthers first grader (we mean that literally, one game off the bench) Gareth "Sooth" Payne. Matt is the president of Greens juniors where all four boys play and showing promising signs that we will see all four feature in first grade in the years to come. We chat about the juniors, 1st grades match against Hamilton, Matt shares a story featuring nude horsey's bombs into the yarra and keep an eye out for a brief walk on cameo from club legend Chisel.

It's a short and sweet one this week. Jonesy and Pugga are joined by none other than Billy Freeman, a bloke who has made a massive impact on the club both on and off the field and he showed that by picking up players player from our massive against our old rivals in front of a 3000 strong crowd at Townson Oval.
