Special mention and thanks to Joan Wood for answering correctly that Nuh AS preached for approximately 900 years!

Lyrics>

Hazrat Nuh was of Messengers, the very first one.
Before he arrived polytheism had begun
In present day IRAQ he was born and raised.
In twenty nine suras, forty three times praised
He was born to Lamech, who was Methusala’s son.
His Great grandfather Idrees, was the last Chosen One
Nuh was indeed a very great man.
His life spread beyond a thousand year span
For building the Ark he was most well known.
A refuge from the floods, the only safe zone

The story of Ibraheem AS and rites during the annual Hajj Pilgrimage Start>>> The Prophet Ibrahim was tested through life With his father, his son, as well as his wife Against his own father, he was destined to stand Who sculpted his idols on public demand Lost in worship of the moon and the stars From the righteous path his people strayed far His father and kinsmen had called him a liar He was bound and gagged and thrown into fire The flames did nothing to put him in fear Upon his blessed face, was nothing but cheer He came out alive, as if he had just slept For, in Allah’s Protection he had been kept Onlookers expected to see something tragic But he walked out calmly as if it was magic! He left his family by Allah’s Command And rebuilt the Ka’baa with his bare hands Alone in the desert were mother and child Who would protect them out here in the wild? Here the miracle of Zamzam commenced Today we can drink to our heart’s content He called his people towards Allah, The One He was ordered to sacrifice his only son! When he tried to follow-through with Allah’s Command Three times obstructed he was, by Shaytan He threw some stones and told him to shoo! Determined to achieve what he was instructed to do His son who was strong and who was full of grace Instructed his father to turn away his face As Ibrahim began to make his move Allah Decided that he had proved His faith in Allah, It was second to none An animal switched the place of the son! He passed the tests and indeed went far Henceforth he is known as Friend of Allah

According to Masjidul Haq his name is Ukhnoon. He is also the great grandfather of Hazrat Nooh AS.

START>>>

The sixth grandson of Aadam
Was Idrees Alayhis Salam
In his lifetime all nations
Of the world were on Islam

He came from Babylon,
Known as Iraq of today
After Prophet Seth
Prophethood came his way

In fact he was the first
Rasool that came in place
The true message of Aadam
Had now become misplaced

He ‘interpreted’ the laws
From Aadam and from Seth
He ‘instructed’ with true knowledge
And understanding, till his death

There were good and there were bad
People across the board
But still they all believed
In the oneness of their Lord

Soon enough for some
Their problems became dire
Some had gone too far
And began worshipping the fire

Corruption from the people
Of Qaabeel came very near
With the Assistance of Allah
They fought away this fear

Idrees who was among them
Assisted everyone as their guide
As long as he was around
They had goodness on their side

He split his normal week
Into three and four so blessed
For three days he would preach
Leading prayers in the rest

In many aspects Idrees was
The very, first one of all men
He was the first man to invent
The usage of the pen

Observing movements of the stars
He was also the first
In the sewing of new garments
He was very-well versed

Of the gifts bestowed upon him
By Most Generous Our Lord
The virtues of his people
Were included in his reward

So he thought to ask Allah
And increase his life some more
An angel he requested
To take him to heaven’s door

His angel friend agreed,
And they travelled upwards north
The Angel of Death however
Was waiting at the fourth

When Muhammad was on Me’raj
Riding Al buraq he saw
That Allah had Raised Idrees
Up to Heaven number four

To Enoch in the Bible
Match the skills of this good man
We too, can be the first
And invent new things- we can

Any ideas that you may have
Just pass around the word
And ask Allah for His Support
Your duas won’t go unheard

Today's episode of the podcast introduces Seth or Sheeth AS. Not much is really known about this man, so please do comment if I have missed anything out. As always, please rate and share- so that others can also benefit.

Lyrics:

START>>>

One hundred and thirty
was Aadam at the time

Of Seth being born
after Qabeel and his crime

He was a ‘gift’ to his parents
since Haabeel had been slain

Slayed by his own brother,
by the bitterness of Cain

Cain and his group
moved to a far-away land

Leaving Aadam and Hawaa
and the rest of their clan

When Aadam grew old
he appointed Seth to lead

to lead away his people from
ignorance and greed

Seth and his followers
Were instructed to stay

Away from Qaabeel
And all those astray

The people of Cain
Went to the flat lying lands

Where the people of Seth
Were now truly banned

Seth now a prophet
taught the hours of the day

He taught the approved times
For his people to pray

For his day and his night
The meanings became new

As his reliance upon the Path
of Allah now grew

Seth was foretold
of Noah’s flood and much more

Of scrolls was given fifty
from a hundred and four

Not much more is known
About this ancestor of man

But he’s mentioned as ‘a gift’
In the books before Qur’an

This is part three of five, in the first book about Aadam AS. Tune-in for regular updates. Don't forget to share and subscribe.

Lyrics:

...Aadam and Hawaa agreed- mistakes had been made
They asked Allah’s Forgiveness, for being waylaid

On a Friday they descended, upon the lonely Earth
To many, many children- Hawaa had given birth

With every born twin, was a sister and a brother
Marriage was decreed, to the sibling of the other

Aadam had two sons, Habeel and Qabeel
Qabeel was envious, and he proposed to steal

Qabeel made a challenge, to his brother in a fight
But Habeel- he declined, he knew this wasn’t right

Habeel was much stronger, and knew this was sad
Qabeel held no restraint, and hurt him really bad

Quarrelsome Qabeel, his anger just grew stronger
He decided not to stay, with his parents any longer

He moved away soon after, to far and distant lands
He took with him some people, by making strong demands

Reading this account, there’s something we can learn
Away from all the prideful, Allah will always Turn

Arrogance and pride, are traits of that Shaytaan
Not part of the character, to be found within man

If you’re listening carefully, you must try to understand
Take good advice from parents, and your lifetime will be grand...

Now you have come to the end of Book 1 about Prophet Aadam and his wife.

You can look forward to the next book in the series...Book 2 Seth AS. Here's a sneak peak at some lines from the book...

One hundred and thirty was Aadam at the time
When Seth was born after Qaabeel and his crime

He was a ‘gift’ to his parents since Haabeel had been slain
Killed by his own brother and the jealousy of Cain (Qaabeel)...

Thank you for listening. I look forward to your comments!

This is part four of five in the first book about Aadam AS. Tune-in for regular updates. Don't forget to share and subscribe.

Lyrics:

...Aadam felt alone, in the garden he was kept
So Allah Made a wife, for him while he slept

He woke up from his slumber, beside him to find
The most beautiful being, right there by his side

“What is your name?” he asked, “and why are you here?”
“I am Hawaa, the first woman - your wife, so don’t fear”

Allah Informed them, they were partners for life
They were both to live in harmony, as husband and wife

They were told they could go, wherever they felt free
But reminded to stay away, from one particular tree

They promised they wouldn't go, anywhere near
But Shaytaan the Accursed, whispered in their ear

“That tree that you have, been told to avoid
Its fruits give pleasure, that you’ve never enjoyed”

He whispered and repeated, until they forgot
The promise they'd made, of avoiding that spot

They ate from the tree, his lies they believed
Their clothes disappeared, so they covered up with leaves

He laughed to himself, as they forgot Allah’s Command
To make them slip up, had always been his plan

For this reason they were, from Paradise removed
And transported to Earth, where lifetime was approved

Arrogant Shaytaan always angry and mad
He lost all he worked for, and everything he had

Pridefully he blamed, Aadam for his loss
When the fault was all his own, no one else to accost

In the same manner we must all, follow-up to the letter

We must accept our faults, and change our lives for the better...

Thank you for listening. I look forward to your comments!

This is part three of five, in the first book about Aadam AS. Tune-in for regular updates. Don't forget to share and subscribe.

Lyrics:

...So Allah Created man, by a special command
He Gave him a soul, and Allowed him to stand

The names of all things, to man did He Teach
Now man had knowledge, beyond Iblees’ reach

Iblees was no angel, but would not give thanks
He’d worked his way up, and rose above their ranks

But now Iblees worried, that his place would be taken
By this man who knew things, about all of creation

The whole group was ordered, to bow before this man
Iblees and his friends rejected this command

He was too proud, to lower down his head
“My fire is better, than this clay”, he said

Disappointed was Allah, with Shaytaan and his pride

Until now he’d been faithful, but has shown his true side

He was ordered to leave, the group he was in
This was no place for arrogance, or any kind of sin

Shaytaan knew the Lord, has Infinite Mercy
And so he took a chance, to ask Allah and see...

“My Lord let me live, until the Judgement Day”

In his mind he thought “I will, lead humans astray

I’ll teach them to be haughty, and guide them to shout
At parents and elders, when they’re out and about”

He cackled to himself, with this plan in his mind
He likes us to be rude, and to be mean and unkind

Allah Allowed Shaytaan, his wish of respite
So each day remember, Shaytaan you must fight

He puts wicked thoughts, inside our hearts
He’s wanted us to fail, right from the start...

Thank you for listening. I look forward to your comments!

This is part two of five, in the first book about Aadam AS. Tune-in for regular updates. Don't forget to share and subscribe.

Lyrics:

"Silly old Iblees, should've known he
Guidance comes only, from Allah you see

Yes we make effort, and try our best
But only with Allah, do all results rest

As humans we always, remember we must
To rely on Allah, as He is Most Just

We must not forget, to put our effort in haste
And Allah will not allow, our efforts to waste

The angels too wondered, why Allah had made
Yet another creature, the earth he might degrade

Allah Responded clear, for all around to hear
“I Know what you don’t, and I Know what you fear!

Mankind has the power, for remarkable things
Which make them exclusive, from angels and djinns

Mankind has the power, for themselves to think
They can choose what is right, or know they will sink

Mankind can overpower, his basal desires
He can save himself, from the greatest of fires

The people that listen, and the ones that take heed
Will seek out success, and from punishment be freed”

Thank you for listening. I look forward to your comments!

Lyrics:

Do you know who was, the first man on Earth
And do you know the story, of his spectacular birth?

His origins were earthly - humble and meek

Angels were raising question, long before he could speak

He never was a toddler, and neither was a child

Made was he from clay, so very soft and mild

Aadam was the name, of this man who came to Earth
Unfolding very shortly, is the story of his birth

Created was this man, from different types of clay

Clay from planet Earth, from near and far away

As an adult he was born, a great father soon to be

Destined he was for greatness, that yet he could not see

Father of all humans, he taught us right from wrong

To Allah is our return, and to Him do we belong

The Most Merciful Creator, Made an image so unique
Angels and djinns had never, seen something so sleek

The body of this man, lay there in its place
For all around to view, from his toes to his face

Iblees who was a djinn, among the angels- glared
He saw this new creation, and inside he felt scared

“For what reason is this ‘thing’, that Allah has made?
While years I’ve been loyal, for so long I have prayed

It was I, that was chosen, to be close to Allah
And only I am supreme, and the greatest by far

The djinns were on earth, in the greatest of error
Fighting each other, unleashing their terror

I alone repaired the problems of djinn-kind
I am Number One above angels you'll find!”

Thank you for listening. I look forward to your comments!
