Mandalorian spoiler alerts - Rebecca is over the moon about the most recent, and last of the season, episode. Think Mark Hamill and CGI. This week we cover more messages in a bottle, clearly Ann's latest obsession. We have officially dropped the COVID moment of the week segment. Why you ask? Rebecca says I'm experiencing COVID induced anger, therefore, time to take a break! She is, of course, right :)

Due to circumstances of holiday travel and just being damn tired, Rebecca didn't get around to editing this episode until December, which was a TRAVESTY because this is actually a really good episode. Ann and Rebecca discuss their holiday together in Washington State, the plague bus that ended up being fine, ungrateful squirrels, and the Great British Baking Show finale! Don't miss this one, we had fun and hope you will too.
Rebecca and Ann return to herald the upcoming COVID19 vaccine and to mourn the Great British Baking Show, but worry not, The Mandalorian is helping with the pain. The two discuss a successful and not-so-successful SpaceX launch and then share a story of a message in a bottle that traveled more than 2000 miles and how cool that is, but maybe, in retrospect, throwing a plastic bottle into the ocean is not a great idea.
This week we welcome Lindsey, and we talk all things MMA. It was patisserie week on the Great British Baking Show - brutal for one contestant. We get some Mardi Gras details wrong, but that’s okay because at The Avary’s Podcast, we’re always moderately prepared!
Next week we continue the conversation with Lindsey, we go from MMA to the world of weight lifting.

In this episode we learn that my geography skills are lacking. Instead of being 2000 miles from Anacortes to El Segundo, it’s really 1222 miles. And of course that is 6,452,160 feet!

Hi everyone! We’re back after a two week hiatus. Had to clear out for our remodel, so we went to Palm Springs, home of mid mod architecture. Stay tuned for some bonus podcast segments this week and next from that trip.

Zombie Ants are real! Rebecca tells us all about it in the News From Around the World segment. COVID is still serious and scary - impacting all of us. Ann’s artificial actor story goes nowhere, but she is determined to press on with the “story”. Frankly, nothing beats the zombie ants this week.

Happy Memorial Day and welcome to podcast number 10! We don’t know if we’re getting better but we’re having fun! Today we discuss the all important topic of missing forks, Rebecca gives her weekly COVID garden update and we started a new segment we are calling The News Story of the Week. And of course we ramble on about all things inconsequential. By the way, we didn’t properly sign off this week so just imagine us saying podcast ya later.
This week it’s short and sweet with Ann and Rebecca out and about sharing disturbing but true bird experiences, a little DIY and the great news that hair appointments are in the works.
