Shereen Sun (they/she) is an artist, author, and acclaimed mentor who specializes in creativity and self-actualization. They have spent their life living on the margins, inviting the creative spirits of others to come out and play. Shereen teaches people how to express themselves with confidence and authenticity, and they help people live their Creative Missions by guiding them to build thriving platforms that are as impactful as they are unique.

As an art educator since they were 18 years old, Shereen's love for creativity and desire to help the most marginalized youth led them to earn a master’s in urban education with advanced specializations in the visual arts. Their passion for awakening the creative spirit of others (or what they like to call remembering their Creative Mission) led them to become an art teacher in inner city schools and paint murals with communities all around the world. After quitting their job as a teacher to start a nonprofit, Shereen realized that they still weren’t living their own Creative Mission. While they loved the impact that they could have on their students, they knew that their Creative Mission was bigger than that.

Called by the desire to engage in their own creative work, they started Radiant Wildheart in 2016. It was then that they discovered that community-building actually was their creative work. By helping people to identify their passions and create a life around them, they soon found themselves immersed in a community with thousands of people, with more joining every day. Their global following of loyal creatives, whom they call Wildhearts, are longing to make a positive and creative impact on the world. They believe that everyone deserves access to the revolutionary healing power of the arts.

Gabes Torres was born and raised in the countryside of the Philippines. She is a psychotherapist, writer, and artist. Her work focuses on the interplay of mental health, the arts, spirituality, and justice-oriented practice. She has an MA in Theology & Culture (a focus on postcolonial theology), and Counseling Psychology. Both graduate degrees were accomplished in Seattle, the city where she organized with abolitionist and anti-imperialist groups at a local, grassroots level. In her clinical practice, Gabes pays attention to healing from racial and migration trauma, while decolonizing the therapeutic space from white Western modalities. Gabes writes for Yes! Magazine, an independent publisher of solutions journalism with stories that uncover environmental, economic, and social justice intersections. She is also a poet and singer-songwriter. She independently produced 3 albums of original music, and her first one was launched when she was 17. She has toured in Southeast Asia, Chicago, San Francisco, and Seattle.

Susan Lopez is a psychotherapist, energy healer, and mindfulness teacher, who focuses on the intersections of healing, spirituality, and social change. She comes from a long line of medicine women, santeros, and curanderos and is a carrier of sacred medicine songs. Her work centers on supporting people in transforming personal and systemic traumas and reconnecting to their authentic selves for deep, transformative healing. Using a variety of modalities, including psychotherapy, plant spirit medicine, and various shamanic energy healing practices, Susan supports individuals in returning to the truth, wholeness, and power of their fully expressed hearts. She believes that our liberation is multidimensional and bound up in each other and our recognition of our shared dignity, wisdom, and interconnectedness. Supporting people while they examine and untangle the great tangle of what it means to be human is her sacred passion and joy.

I hope you enjoy this inspiring conversation with Susan where we uncover the Witch Wound.
