To say God is sovereign is to declar He has the absolute right and unquestioned power to do whatever He wishes to do"I know You can do everything, and no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You" (Job 42:2) God is the ultimate authority in all things, and all things are under His ultimate control.
Apostle Paul admonished and warned the Church at Colossians about their dominion in Christ and the destructive works of the flesh respectively. It has a lot to do with our focus in life on earth or in heaven. We must never present our body to sin, or let it reign in our body but we must reckon ourselves dead, in other words we should have as little desire for improper worldly pleasures as a dead person would have.
Christians we must understand, realize that our real home is in heaven, where Christ lives. When we realize this truth, it provides a different perspective on our lives here on earth. To think about things of heaven, means we look at them from Gods prospective, and to seek what He desires
Considering the spiritual, moral condition of our land, our society today, you might think that because of the corruption in our government systems or civil leaders from 1900 Pennsylvania Ave in DC, all the way down here at our local level, our elected leaders are failing us, failing the Lord, to use a popular phrase “Houston we got a problem.”
You might consider the sexual immorality rampy in the nation, murder, thievery, drug abuse, houses of worship turning to houses of sin. The overall moral depravity in the nation. Truly this is a time when we should be crying out to God the Father, “Deliver Us From Evil’

Our world our nation is changing. Even now, an unseen force grinds away, reshaping the nation we know and love. But reshaping her into what?

But the good news is that the power of the people of God is the greatest force for good this world has yet to see. So let thisbe a clear call to encourage America’s Christians to get in the fight, take our rightful stand and together win the Battle for the Soul of America
