What an amazing sotry shared by Alex Sabio. Alex lives in Southern California and worked on the front lines battling Covid and helping patients as a Respiratory Therapist and has been in the real estate game for a while now. As a child, he first learned about real estate while watching his family members operate a motel on the Las Vegas strip. He then went on to investing in long term rentals (LTRs) in the early 2000's while also launching his career in healthcare as a respiratory therapist. Unfortunately, with the crash in 2008, Alex learned the more unforgiving side of real estate and had to real back his portfolio.
Over the next several years, Alex continued to progress in his carrer as a respiratory therapist. He and his wife (whose also a respiratory therapist) focused on their family and grew from a family of 2 to a family of 6, welcoming 4 wonderful children. By 2015 or so, they were ready to take another swing at real estate!
Their CPA was actually the one that advised them to consider short term rentals for the tax benefits. Taking their CPA up on his advice, they purchased a cabin in the Great Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. This turned into a wildly successful investment. In Alex's words "it was an ATM machine". Alex and his wife have since continued to buy short term rentals, which allowed his wife to walk away from her carreer in healthcare to spend more time with family and on the business.
These days, Alex continues to work as a respiratory therapist and runs an online community supporting other healthcare professionals who want to get into real estate investing. He's incredibly passionate about helping others recognize their own financial freedom through real estate investing and he continues to give as much as he can to the community!

These days, Julie continues to author books on various aspects of the hospitality business. She travels the world presenting at seminars, teaching others how to accomplish what she has, and she's also a coach and mentor in the short term rental space....AND, you may be seeing her on Netflix soon as the pilot for Hospitable Hosts will launch in the coming months!!!
She is one of the friendliest and most charistmatic individuals that we've ever spent time with, and she's an absolute blast to be around!

We are so excited to share this amazing story with all of you! Meet Adrienne and Harley Green! They started their real estate investing journey with a simple "house hack". Really, they bought a home in Virginia and eventually decided to finish out the basement and rent it out. That choice helped set them on a path that changed their lives forever....they then began buying condo's in their local market. Eventually, they were able to sell those, making a sizable profit and moved to Chattanooga, TN where they continued to invest by using the BRRRR method. While they conitnued to scale their portfolio, Adrienne started a very successful, investor focused real estate sales team, helping investors from around the country buy investment properties in Chattanooga! This is actually how Dave and Adrienne met!
While their agent team and investment portfolio continued to prosper, they began buying short term rentals in Myrtle Beach, and they now own 3! Add to that a RV park just outside of Chattanooga....all while building a wonderful family of 3 amazing kids.
Outside of real estate investing, Harley started a company called Workergenix. Workergenix offers administrative support to small and large businesses, allowing owners to focuse on growing their businesses, rather than getting caught in the smaller operational tasks.

This was such an incredible episode! We were fortunate enough to meet Michael while networking at the Miami STR Wealth retreat. His story is amazing. He and his family live in New Jersey and for their first short term rental investment, they decided to take a swing at a 10 bedroom home just outside of Disney World. How and why they made the decision to invest here can all be learned in this wonderful interview. Long story short, Michael and his wife, Marissa looked at the cold hard data and took a very calculated and strategic risk. That decision ignited into an amazing investment and an incredible home that is perfectly themed! The home is called "The Enchanted Rose Villa". It boasts a Harry Potter themed movie theatre, a game room, disney themed bedrooms, and a pool. Not only that, Michael and Marissa leverage technology and automations to make the operations of such a home much more managable!
Since buying and updating this home, they've gone on to buy another in Gulf Shores and most recently just got their 3rd STR under contract in North Carolina! Mike and Marissa have dialed in their operations so they can quite literally manage properties from anywhere in the world, simply by replicating the lock tight systems that they have created!

This was our first recording of the Hassle Free RE Podcast! In this interview, I met with Tony Iacobucci. He has built his business from the ground up....literally! He built from scratch some of the homes and designed them to be highly efficient, both for living and for operating. He's built a business with the goal of making people happy by eliminating what they hate!
Not only that, Tony have avoided some of the common stressors that come with real estate investing, such as finding a deal. He eliminated "finding" deals by building his own inventory. Not only that, he designs the spaces to work and function exactly for their purpose!
