Created on Purpose, for a Purpose
Based on Ephesians 2:10
Have you ever stopped to think about how intentionally God made you?
During Sunday’s message, we were reminded of the powerful truth found in Ephesians 2:10:
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
You are not a mistake or a random product of chance—you are God’s intentional creation, shaped by His loving hands with purpose and design.
Just as an artist pours heart and detail into every brushstroke, God has crafted each of us with precision and care. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:13–14). The world may try to place us into categories or “buckets” based on our job, income, background, or beliefs, but God doesn’t see labels—He sees His creation, unique and full of potential.
Our true purpose begins when we come to Christ. The Bible tells us, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
In Jesus, we don’t just get a new start—we become a new creation, restored to live for what we were made for: to glorify God through our lives.
God has already prepared meaningful opportunities for each of us—acts of love, moments of service, words of encouragement. Purpose isn’t something we have to chase; it’s something we step into as we walk closely with Him.
Pastor John shared about a hand-crafted mandolin he received from Paracho, Mexico—a town known for its artisans. That mandolin wasn’t mass-produced; it was carved and shaped by hand, made for a specific purpose: to make music.
It’s a beautiful picture of our lives. We were shaped by the Master’s hands to produce something beautiful—His song of grace, love, and hope.
You are not ordinary. You are not forgotten. You are not random.
You are God’s masterpiece—created on purpose, for a purpose.
Each day is a chance to let the Master play His song through your life so that others can hear His beauty in you.
What unique gifts or passions has God placed in you?
Where might God be calling you to serve or show His love?
How can you remind yourself daily that you are His masterpiece?
We are a Christ centered Acts 1:8 family.

Life’s hardest moments bring life’s deepest questions. In John 11, Jesus stands before Martha in her grief and declares:
“I am the resurrection and the life… Do you believe this?”
This week’s message, “Do You Believe This?”, will help us see how faith in Jesus brings real hope—not just for someday, but for today.
Scripture: John 11:25–26

What if faith isn’t found in comfort...
…but in surrender?
Jesus said, “Whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.”
It’s not about holding on—it’s about letting go.
Not about self-help—but self-denial.
Not about gaining the world—but finding Him.
Join us as we unpack what it truly means to find faith by following Jesus—even when it costs everything.

This week's sermon is based on Mark 10:46-52
Mark 10:46–52.
46 Then they came to Jericho. And as He was leaving Jericho with His disciples and a large crowd, a blind beggar named Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the road.
47 When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
48 Many were sternly telling him to be quiet, but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
49 And Jesus stopped and said, “Call him here.” So they called the blind man, saying to him, “Take courage, stand up! He is calling for you.”
50 Throwing aside his cloak, he jumped up and came to Jesus.
51 And answering him, Jesus said, “What do you want Me to do for you?” And the blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, I want to regain my sight!”
52 And Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and began following Him on the road.

Today's sermon is based on Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
9 Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.
10 For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up.
11 Furthermore, if two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone?
12 And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.

Despite facing rejection, Paul's decision to continue preaching the good news to the disciples exemplifies unwavering faith and dedication to spreading the message of salvation.

This passage highlights Mary's humility and recognition of her need for a Savior. Luke 1:39-56 is a powerful biblical passage reminding us of the importance of humility and the recognition that we, like Mary, need a Savior. It challenges the notion that we can earn our way into Heaven solely through good works. Instead, it encourages us to embrace the gift of salvation offered by grace through faith, highlighting the grace and love of God.

Luke 1:26-38 is a powerful and inspiring story that reminds us of the incredible faith and trust displayed by Mary, the mother of Jesus. This passage tells of the angel Gabriel's visit to Mary, informing her that she would conceive the Son of God who would reign over Israel forever. Despite her initial doubt as a virgin, Mary ultimately embraced her role as a vessel of God's will. Just like Mary, we often find ourselves limiting God's ability to use us for His purpose. We tend to put God in a box and underestimate His power in our lives. Luke 1:26-38 serves as a reminder to have faith, trust in God's plan, and allow ourselves to be instruments of His divine will.
Acts 10:34-48 is a profound and enlightening passage that showcases the transformative power of God's love and salvation. In this story, Peter and his Christian friends from Joppa have a powerful realization that God's grace extends to all, including the gentiles. It is a testament to the inclusive nature of God's message and the limitless reach of the Holy Spirit. Acts 10:34-48 serves as a reminder that love knows no bounds, and that through faith and understanding, we can all experience the profound joy and blessings of God's divine plan.

Let's dive into Acts Chapter 10, verses 23 to 33 and explore the beautiful message that God has provided for us to be thankful for in this inspirational scripture.
Church hurt is the number 1 reason why people stop attending church. The Church (Big C) must recognize the hurt we've caused, repent (change our minds on how we see church pain), ask for forgiveness from God and those we hurt, and take the initiative to begin the healing process (Blessed are the peacemakers). If we continue to see church attendance reduction as "their fault" rather than taking ownership, nothing will change.#church #wounds #repentance
If the Church (Big C) doesn't do some self-reflection and take responsibility for causing spiritual hurt to many Christians, the people will continue to leave their local church hoping to have a relationship with Jesus on their own.

1The word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai saying, 2“Arise, go to Nineveh the great city and cry against it, for their wickedness has come up before Me.” 3But Jonah rose up to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. So he went down to Joppa, found a ship which was going to Tarshish, paid the fare and went down into it to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.
