Questions that we discussed: Is there a disconnect between men and women when communicating about their needs/expectations in relationships? If so, where does the disconnect start? Do you believe relationship experts are more focused on improving women rather than men? Is there a burden for women to show up whole and healed but men get a pass? Why are we still co-signing toxic love in the songs we listen to? Why do we give artists passes in the love they portray in the name of art?

We are in the era of celebrity Christian leadership– are we on a slippery slope of creating idols out of our leaders and how do we manager this?

In this era of social media it seems that it encourages us to cancel friendships without trying to resolve an issue–how do we handle a friend that seems jealous, do we cancel them or not? Are we only for Cancel Culture when it benefits our beliefs or standards? Do you think people should lose their jobs and be canceled forever for a poor decision they made?

Welcome to Seated With Strangers. This season we’re exploring the topic of unsubscribing from pop culture and social norms. This is the afterparty to the episode unsubscribing from chasing six figures
Questions that we discussed: 1: Are social media entrepreneurs lying to us about what it takes to run a business and make six figures? Can you really make six figures in a few weeks and maintain it? Are we buying into the perceived lifestyle of being an entrepreneur “freedom, trips to island” and not concerned about the service we are providing – does the service no longer matter. How should we handle businesses that aren’t legit – do we tell our friends or give them a pass?
