Hi Fabuli

This is the final episode of this season's Fabulous To Meet You, and what a way to end this batch of conversations with fascinating women!

When I heard Robbie Jerram refer to herself as the Fairy Gin Mother, my ears priced up - what a fabulous title!  As the Queen of Fabulocity, I like outlandish titles!

I expected the conversation to be about gin but it turned out to be more IMA-GIN-ATION.   Robbie reminds me so much Tina Botha Evans (The CODA who I interviewed in Season One) because she is also 'Joy-In-Skin'.

In our conversation Robbie takes us through her life, stringing stories and experiences together which have all lead her to who she is today - lover of cocktails, life, music, her children.

There's a lot to take away in this interview - I hope you enjoy it!

See you sometime in the new year!  Happy holidays to all of you, Fabuli, and thanks for your support!  Your kind words and attention mean the world to me.

Hello Fabuli!

Julia Witherspoon is a Nutritional Therapist who works with women to help them navigate menopause.  She's a high-energy, down-to-earth Brit - the best kind, and I loved chatting to her.

She caught my attention on Instagram when she was talking about the male form of menopause, aka midlife crisis, aka andropause, which I had never heard of.

If you don't sleep well, you'll love her tip which helped her tremendously - it's one of her most fabulous things (as you can imagine).

I hope you enjoy meeting Julia as much as I did!

My husband, Mark, met the lovely Jennifer K Hill at a book launch, and put her name forward as a fabulous guest for the podcast.  Well, when my husband speaks, I listen (ha ha ha), although on this occasion I did!

Jennifer is indeed extremely fabulous and does remarkable things with her time.  We launched straight into talking about hats and flamboyant outfits and carried on from there, so don't expect the usual introduction!🤣

There were so many incredible moments in this interview, and I feel that Jennifer's stories and experiences had a deep impact on my life perspectives.

If you know anyone who would benefit from listening to Jennifer, please share this interview with them.  And if you haven't already, please like and subscribe.  These seem like small things but they make a huge difference to me to get the word out about my work.

Have an incredible week.

Hello Hello!

I am so thrilled to introduce you to Jennifer Bristol, who is as interesting as she is lovely!

I'll let you learn about who she is in the interview, but I just wanted to mention that one of my favourite parts of the interview is where she talks about how she tuned into the 'feelings' of rocks (in an empathic way) when she worked for a tile manufacturing company.  She tells in different words but I think you'll enjoy her story.

Jennifer also talks about one of the juciest things I've every heard - a conscious gap year!

Enjoy and see you next time!

Hello fabulous friends.

Today's interview is with the fabulous Rachel Wayte who is one of the nicest human beings you will ever meet.

She is so down-to-earth, yet she does profound work to help people get unstuck in their lives, and to thrive.

She talks about how she studied opera singing, then gave it up, only realising years later how she was destined to sing, but not in the way that she was expecting.

Stay tuned for a special message from her guides.

Until next time,
Yolanda

Hello Fab Friends

Today's episode of Fabulous To Meet You is part two  of the awesome chat I had with Rosanna Rozyglow Hanness.  If you haven't yet heard the first part, I think you'll enjoy it, particularly the part where she brings in her guides and talks to them in her fabulous light language!  This was new to me, and I'm absolutely fascinated by it!

If you've been enjoying these podcasts, it would help me so much if you gave me a five star review on Apple podcasts, or your chosen platform.

Until next time, remember to go forth and fabify...

Hello Fabulous Folk

This week's episode was such fun!

I chat to Rosanna Hannes, also known as Rozyglow, who is as fascinating as she is beautiful.

She calls herself the Maverick behind the StarSeed Movement, and she was also recently listed as one of New York Weekly Times Top 12 Most Inspirational Women to Look Out for in 2022.

In this interview she channels her guides, using a light language to give me a message from them - fascinating stuff!    She talks about her journey through challenging times, ending up as a truly inspirational coach, helping people to heal from inter-generational trauma and more.

This is part one - part two will come next time!

See you next time!

Hello Fabuli

It was absolutely fascinating chatting to my guest, Olesya Wilson, who helps people with all sorts of ailments using ancient Russian herbs and potions as well as spiritual and scientific modalities.

She explains it much better so have a listen.

If this is the first time tuning in, my name is Yolanda Drewell, and I'm a Fabulous Coach.  My pride and joy is inspiring, challenging and cheerleading women of all ages to look, feel and do fabulous.

This podcast - Fabulous To Meet You - is where I chat to women who I think have something especially fabulous about them.  Fabulous definitely comes in all guises and my wish for every woman is they live their lives in fabulous fashion - whatever that means to them.

I hope you enjoy this episode.
Much love

Hello Friends

This week I'm back, sharing my friend, Tamzin Lovell Miller, one of the nicest, smartest women I know.

Tamzin's life has unfolded beautifully with her living it pretty spontaneously - is that fair to say, Tamzin?

She made moves in many directions, each time tapping into whether it felt right, and then making decisions which she knew would lead her into something deliciously new, and trusting that she would 'knit her parachute in freefall'.

What a fabulous life philosophy.

I hope you enjoy meet her!

Hi Fabulous Friends.

Emma Boardman is a delight, and an inspiration to anyone.

She can't draw but she's an artist.

She can't sing but she fronted a popular band in Germany by miming.

She doesn't speak any foreign languages but she built a successful international franchise language programme for toddlers.

She models that pretty much anything is possible.

I hope you enjoy meeting her as much as I did.

Hello Friends

My lovely Austrian guest, Romana Hasenoehrl, like all of us, has experienced the highs and lows of this mortal coil.

But I love how she uses laughter to help through the tough times, that she calls herself a Tme Millionaire, and how she wrote a novel based on her blog! Just genius!

We had a good laugh over a Laughter Cocktail - give it a try when you're feeling under the weather.

This is the final conversation is this season of Fabulous To Meet You.  I'll be back in the Autumn with some fabulous new guests.

Until then, remember to go forth and fabify!

Hello Faberati

I was so excited to chat to Manny, an artist/ fashion lover/ inspirationalist/ content creator who lights up Instagram and TikTok with her fabulous outfits and positivity.

Manny has always been a plus size luscious lady, and my favourite story (which she tells in the interview) is when she was a teenager, and one day on the beach a friend of hers took scissors to her voluminous bathing suit (that she wore to cover up her body), and voila, she was wearing a bikini.

And she didn't die!  Nobody cared.   And as soon as she made peace with her body, and realised life was more important than being thin, she started to have so much for fun with clothes and life.  And her confidence soared.

If you listen to 'society', Manny shouldn't be feeling so fantastic about herself.  She's past her midlife, she has grey hair, and she's plus size.  Yet, she looks, feel and does fabulous.  My kind of women.

I hope you enjoy the conversation!

Until next time,  go forth and fabify!

Hello friends!

Today I was so thrilled to meet Cheryl who first tweaked my interest when I discovered that she started martial arts at the age of 47!

Did you take that in?  47!    Age really is no barrier to fabulocity.  Age is no barrier to anything.  Are there some adaptions that you might need to make - perhaps, but in a world where there are so many challenges and issues, please don't add any extra unnecessary obstacles of your own!

Cheryl inspired me so much for her positivity and go-getting attitude.  I hope you enjoy our conversation.

See you soon,
Love

Hello Friends

One of my most fabulous things is to surround myself with fabulous people.

How do I describe Sammy?  Firstly, it's impossible to feel low when Sammy is around.  She has a very animated way about her (her Caribbean roots perhaps) and she has navigated the ups and downs of life with intentional positivity, self-love and gratitude.

I loved hearing about her Soul Sundays, how she sets herself up for a fabulous day every day, and why she has a penchant for Hong Kong.

She has a very refreshing outlook on ageing, and her energy and down-to-earth perspectives just touch my heart.

I spent hours editing this video because we just had so much to say so it's choppy in bits.

Have a fabulous, incredible, sensational week!

Love

Hi friends

Today I'm introducing you to a very fabulous lady who just blew my mind with her determination to overcome serious health issues using positivity, trusting herself and choosing joy over uncertainty.

There were so many fabulous moments in this interview but one of my favourites is where she talks about the two types of friends she found out she had when she was diagnosed - those that wanted her to feel better, and those that wanted her to get better.

Johanna, you are a true inspiration to me, your clients, and I hope that the listeners will share your story of hope to others because what the world needs right now is exactly what you embody, and what has become your fabulous mantra - choosing joy over uncertainty.

And if you need branding, check out Johanna's incredible work on her website Designs By Jo

And if you're wanting to reinvent yourself in spectacular fashion, or you need some fabulocity in some shape or form, your all access pass to me is on Yolanda Drewell.com

See you soon

Hi friends

I'm living my best life right now, interviewing fabulous women from all walks of life, in my interview series.

This week I'd like to share with you the awesome Tina Botha-Evans, a CODA (Child Of Deaf Adults) and what a delight it was to chat to her.

She reveals what it was like to live as a hearing person among deaf adults - the challenges and fun times. About two-thirds of the way in, you'll see her partner, Sharon, join the interview, after Tina revealed horrific experiences that she had to endure as a child, where it was particularly lonely to be a CODA. I was going to edit it out but it felt so right to leave it in, and Sharon agreed.

Fabulous To Meet You is an interview series where I want to highlight that fabulous comes in all guises. When you reach a cross road in your life (and there are many), this is the perfect time to reinvent yourself, and strut out as the next fabulous iteration of you.

My interview series is one of the ways that I'm reinventing myself, and it's part of my own personal strategy to step into the boldest, brightest version of myself. It's part of my mission to walk my talk that every woman in the world should feel, look and do fabulous! If you'd like to know more about what I'm up to, check out my website https://www.yolandadrewell.com/.

Hi friends

It was fascinating chatting to the fascinating Karine Bedard about ethical non-monogamy, sex positivity and open relationships.

She is such a delightful, joyful person.  A real girl-next-door musician that has this other side to her.

I hope you'll enjoy listening and if this world is new to you as it was to me, I'm sure you'll find it insightful.

See you next time,
Yolanda ♥️

ABOUTThis interview forms part of my Fabulous To Meet You Series of interviews of people I have never met, never heard of, or know very little about.  My mission is to show that meeting people is as easy as reaching out.  This sounds obvious yet we are all experiencing a new pandemic - a loneliness pandemic - which I'm hoping to help to solve by inspiring people to meet new people, and create communities.   Communities are critical to thriving.

I'm also wanting to highlight the fact that fabulous comes in all guises, and that we all have the right and ability to look, feel and do fabulous at any age.  That's why I'm the Queen of Fabulocity, creating The Fabulocity Movement, and looking for fabulous women to join me on my quest!

Hi all!

It's Yolanda Drewell, back with a new episode of Fabulous To Meet You, where I get to chat to amazing women who are inspirations and examples that fabulous comes in all guises.

If this is the first time we've met, I'm crazy about the word fabulous, and I'm on a mission to inspire a movement of women around the globe to look, feel and do fabulous at all stages of their lives.

In today's episode, I share a chat I had with the awesome Zoe Fuller who grew up in a circus!  She reveals some fascinating insights about what life is like when you live in a circus, which I've always been curious about.

Now, Zoe uses her circus and other skills to inspire women to express their inner fire.

I hope you enjoy this episode. We had a blast making it!

Hey fabulous friends

I was so excited to meet Hilde Palladino. She is a Norwegian newly published author who loves to travel. But specifically solo travel. Transformational Travel. Of which she has done a whole lot.

I was particularly fascinated about her interest in Indonesian sea nomads, whom I had never heard of.

For more information about Hilde, or to see the video version of this interview visit my website yolandadrewell.com

Hello, it's Yolanda Drewell, and welcome to Fabulous to Meet You.

This is my happy place, where I get to meet amazing women, who have some kind of fabulousness about them, and whom I know nothing, or next to nothing, about.   Of course, I'm here to prove that fabulous comes in all guises, so I hope to interview a wide range of different personas.

Somewhere in each interview, I'll ask my guest about their five most fabulous things.  It's so interesting to me how different our perspectives, experiences and ideas are about what constitutes 'fabulous'.

The thing that first caught my eye about Unison Colthurst was her fabulous, bold statement style.   I couldn't wait to meet her.  So, I reached out, and she agreed to meet me.

Unison is a music teacher that decided to reinvent herself as a Professional Organiser.  She is very inspiring in many ways and I hope you enjoy meeting her as much as I did.

Hi friend!

Thanks for stopping by. I'm Yolanda and I'm on a mission to inspire every woman to look, feel and do fabulous. Part of this quest is to highlight that fabulocity comes in all guises, and you'll meet a lot of them here, just like I did.

Most of these women I know nothing about, so I'll be making their acquaintance for the first time, just like one does at party. Others I've seen across a real or virtual room, and I've reached out to them. They always have something fabulous about them - whether it's how they dress, something they've experienced, or the work they do.

In each interview, I'll ask them to chat about their five most fabulous things, which could be absolutely anything. This idea was inspired by one of my most fabulous movies - The Sound of Music, particularly the song 'these are a few of my favourite things'.

So, about this episode:

There comes a moment in your life when you realise you deserve to be seen.

Gennevieve Vaillancourt is one of the loveliest women I have ever met. She lives with a condition called PCOS which provides her with a wide range of health issues. One of the physical manifestations is facial hair, which she is now embracing and using as a catalyst to inspire women to love themselves as they are.

Thank you for listening, and if you know of anyone fabulous that you'd like to nominate, I'd love to hear from you!. You can nominate them on my website https://www.yolandadrewell.com/

You'll also find video recordings of my podcasts in case you're more of a visual person!

Thanks so much for listening.
