Patternz is a podcast about the complexities of life. How it replicates patterns of behavior, good and bad, which tend to show up in our children and grandchildren even without verbal prompting. Have you ever heard the saying, "we are the product of our environment?" What this says is we often demonstrate the behavior that is modeled before us, even the behavior that we dislike.
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is commonly known as winter depression and can be triggered by Daylight Saving Time. SAD affects about 6% of the population and affects women 4 times more than men. About 20 – 30% of the population will be affected by a mild case of SAD in their lifetime.
In this episode, I will define triggers, give examples of types of triggers, and list ways to help manage triggers.
